Alps Riding Training
Germany or Austria
Our Alpine Motorcycle Training Course prepares you for the winding roads in the Alps
During our years of experience taking motorcycle riders from all over the world on trips to nearly every corner of the globe, we have learned that motorcyclists have different ideas about what makes a perfect road. While most motorcyclists’ descriptions of their dream roads contain words like “winding, twisty, curvy,” the mountain roads on our Alpine tours take many tour participants by surprise.
- Special Training
The majority have never seen (except in photos), and certainly never ridden along mountain passes or roads like the Passo di Stelvio. To take the edge off the sometimes overwhelming challenge and to heighten our riders’ fun and safety from the outset, Edelweiss offers a training course before the start of some tours.
- Safety and riding experience
For those riding the Alps for the first time, we strongly recommend booking the Alps Riding Training. It will be held on the arrival day of the actual tour (see itinerary below) * and will enhance your safety and riding experience immensely. Alpine and European roads, traffic and driving patterns are very different than most motorcyclists are used to in their home environment. Our riding training can tune your riding skills to our home environment.
