Following the great and newly built roads along the coast, we head towards the ferry point to Cres. Croatia itself is very famous for its over 1200 islands and what would a trip to Croatia be without visiting at least two or three of those. Our way to Mali Losinj leads us along the beautiful mountain range towards the southern end of Cres. The next morning we will take the ferry towards Krk, the largest of the 1246 islands and finally we arrive at the famous coastal road of Croatia.
We are following the windy curves down south and experience a mixture of great scenery along the cliff line and one of the most impressive curvy and beautiful roads of Croatia until we end up in Karlobag. In Croatia’s backcountry we will visit the Lake Plitvice National Park that is located close to the Bosnian border. Either enjoying the breathtaking beauty of the lakes or playing with our bikes on the island of Pag, it will be a rest day that we never forget. On our way back towards Austria we will stay one last night in Slovenia, where the feeling arises that time stood still in those places.
Our accommodation has a beautiful view over the Slovenian landscape and you will experience great hospitality. On this 8 day tour you won’t only experience the tourist regions of Croatia, but also the backcountry that is formed by beautiful nature. To connect with locals and their culture is the main focus on this unforgettable motorcycle tour through south-eastern Europe.
