Let‘s go on a breathtaking motorcycle tour to Spain and Portugal on this Christopher Columbus Tour. This is an eleven day motorcycle tour, but we recommend that you fly in a couple of days early to take in those beautiful regions in Spain and Portugal. From Malaga, we’ll carve the twisty roads of the Costa del Sol. Traveling through the mild breezes and breathtaking scenery of the coastal road, we cross the Sierra Bermeja and pause in the tiny Andalusian town of Ronda before moving on to Seville, a mecca of history for Columbophiles. Next, we leave the hilly region of the Algarve to enjoy the curvy roads of the Sierra de Monchique.
Our next stop, Lisbon, is a work of art. The historic city center is built on seven hills making some of the streets too steep for motor vehicles – so better swap your “beemer” for walking shoes to enjoy the beauty of this enchanting town. Then we ride into the Sierra Morenas, which range from the Portuguese border to the Sierra Alcaraz: 250 miles of challenging twisties, enough to delight even the most hardcore rider. After our last stop in Cordoba we shortly return to Malaga. The adventure is over — we have travelled far and discovered much, and Christopher Columbus has nothing on us.
