Moto Grand Prix Tour Phillip Island

Australia

Come along on a Ducati motorcycle tour of history and adventure: Moto Grand Prix Tour Phillip Island.

The Ducati Moto Grand Prix Tour Phillip Island is the path way to infinite horizons. Australia is the earth‘s largest island and its smallest continent. Our tour takes us through its south-eastern corner. This is the most populous section of this old and beautiful land including as it does Australia‘s two largest cities, Sydney and Melbourne.

It also includes Australia‘s capital, the wonderfully well-planned city of Canberra, and a variety of small and interesting towns and cities. Mostly, however, our tour has us riding through some of Australia‘s most beautiful and interesting terrain on good roads that are remarkably free of traffic. We will be riding through farmlands, open terrain, mountains and forests, and we will experience a wide variety of scenes: beaches of breathtaking beauty, mountains that are truly imposing and the wide-open spaces for which Australia is renowned – and all of it on roads that are just fun to ride.

Leaving Sydney’s population of 4 million behind, we make our way to Melbourne, where we watch Casey Stoner and Nicky Hayden at work on what is perhaps the most picturesque circuit of the Moto GP series. There is a good chance we will get to celebrate the world championship, since Phillip Island is the third to last race of a long season.
