Best of Cuba

This motorcycle tour through Cuba is loaded with culture, great scenery and good roads.

Explore the secrets of Cuba on this motorcycle tour and learn more about Che Guevara and his revolution. Cuba, the historic island in the Caribbean Sea, is famous for its history, cities, beaches and the hospitality of the people.

Depending on how long you tour you will go to Havana, Vinales, Santa Clara, Trinidad and Playa Larga. Stop at Las Terazzas for a swim under the waterfalls or discover the places and towns in Vinales. On our way to Cienfuegos you will visit the Museum at the Bay of Pigs. Enjoy the beautiful buildings at the city square where we will stop for a Cuban coffee. Then we will visit Trinidad, one of the cities on the World Heritage Site list and considered by many to be one of the most beautiful cities on the Caribbean coast.

From Trinidad we will ride out to the mountains of Escambray, Topes de Collantes, and enjoy the view of Lake Hanabanilla. Santa Clara is next on our list of destinations, and is famous for Che Guevara and his capture of the city, together with Camilo Cienfuegos, during the revolution in 1958. We will of course visit the mausoleum and museum of Che Guevara. This and much more awaits you on this motorcycle tour in Cuba!

Exploring Cuba with Edelweiss Bike Travel was an experience we will never forget! We were transported back in time to the 1950s to a country being so beautiful and which is just emerging from the ravages of communism. We were travelling with the nicest group of people you could wish to meet, coming from all corners of the world. Our tour guide Jens turned out being the best buddy you can imagine by the time the trip ends and my two South African friends and myself look forward to seeing him and the group again in another country soon.
