Some of America’s greatest landscapes are found in “Red Rock Country.“ This region just northeast of Las Vegas abounds with unforgettable dioramas of nature. Even Edelweiss tourers who have travelled with us many times continue to enjoy this tour, some of them for the second or third time!

Las Vegas is a great place to start exploring the Grand Canyon and historic Route 66; Hoover Dam and Lake Mead lead the trip. Route 66 from Kingman to Williams revives the American fifties and sixties. Flagstaff is a good base camp to discover the grandest of all canyons by airplane, helicopter or motorcycle.

 

After a great ride to Page, the trip to Monument Valley on the rest day can take 12 hours or more! But a boat ride on Lake Powell is a more relaxing option. Zion National Park or Bryce Canyon are the options for seeing some of the greatest red rock formations in the world. The ride back to Vegas opens vistas into the Valley of Fire and across Lake Mead. Make a choice at the end of this great motorcycle tour: Stay and gamble or fly home to savor eight days of memories from your red rock ride.
