Panama City to Los Angeles: what are we waiting for?

Our first stop will be the famous Panama Canal, on our way to the border to beautiful Costa Rica. We will spend some nice days along the Pacific coast on great riding roads! We continue to Nicaragua, where the colonial town of Granada is ideal for another rest day.

The ruins of Copan (in Honduras) and Guatemala’s ancient Antigua are also on our route. The next border is just around the corner… Mexico. Our route leads us to the ruins of Palenque to beautiful Oaxaca and on to Acapulco. Riding through Central America is simply amazing – within a month you get to see a lot of different countries. It doesn’t get any better than this!

 

Then we follow the Pacific coast northward. At Mazatlan we cross by ferry boat to famous Baja Peninsula. Riding Baja is really nice, as great scenery and nature accompany us going up to the last border… the United States of America. Is it really true – just one more week to finish the North America Section?
