Alpen Deluxe

The day before the Riding-part starts we started with a city-tour through Innsbruck. The old town with the famous golden roof and the funicular up on 2300m still within the citylimits is just impressing. At the same time three decided to do the prep course to get used to the new bike and roads

Our first Ridingday welcomes us with finest weather and perfect temperatures. Our group-members from US, Canada and Australia are eager to start the tour. Through the Inn valley to the west we turned into the Ötztal up to the Timmelsjoch, our first Mountainpass up on 2300m hight. The famous motorcycle museum is a must to see!! After lunch in Lana we choose a route with lower traffic and finally got after the famous Mendelpass-road toward our hotel, located direct under the famous Rsengarden a mountain-range of the southern dolomites.

Perfect riding weather, no traffic on the hidden passes and excellent food. The weather forecast was very precise today so we got to the hotel before it started raining cats and dogs. So we were not to late we could discover our hotel wich is a castel out of the 15th century.

From the famous wine region of PROSECCO to the challenging ride uphill the Monte Grappa and for desert the charming village of Basano del Grappa.

With perfect riding weather all day long we the best day so far. Small winding roads and on the altopiano and switchbacks in the valley of pasubio. And at our Hotel in Verone where we got after a traffic jam we enjoyed dinner at the rooftop-restaurant and discussed our Plans for the upcoming restday.

So we had a restday today an our group spread up to all the options can be, but riding. An excursion to Venice, A city tour through Verona, or shopping and relaxing , we will meet together again for dinner in one of the charming restaurants in the old town of Verona.

Even pouring rain and sharp sidewinds could us get not to ride our bikes. We are not Italian ferries ;-))
