Tomorrow morning is the time to leaving Iraklion...
What a nice start! Beautiful weather, beautiful people and great but challenging roads!
First sweepers in the morning, followed by some narrow roads through olive plantations added with some spicy single lane paths :-) to the sea and back on mountain roads...Huihuihui, WE had fun today!
Sunshine - again! First a bit road construction, then new tarmac in the mountains and after an endless single lane road down to the sea...yiehaa!
Coffee, repeat and another road up and down: Wow! After a quick lunch by the sea another single lane mountain road and arrival on the moon :-)
After visiting Gortyn an archeological site first flourishing 5th to 3rd century BC and 67 BC taken over by the Romans, making it the capital of Crete...
From here another 30 minutes to the former hippie village Matala...What a day!

Restday?! Not all for our riders, they want it all :-))
Our last riding day back to Heraklion where our odyssey :-) started! And our group wants to have the full package, no short cuts allowed. Okay, 240km, one would think this is a half days ride. Come here and experience the tiny twisty roads and the great scenery!
