This motorcycle tour takes you right through the heart of central Italy – a stunning ride along winding mountain roads, through deep forests, historic villages, and rolling hills. From the hidden corners of Tuscany to the peaks of the Apennines and the lush valleys of Umbria, each day brings new sights, cultural highlights, and delicious local food.
After a welcome briefing at the lovely Villa Pitiana, we head out for a short warm-up ride. Cruising through the Vallombrosa forest, over Borgo alla Collina and the twisty Passo della Consuma, we loop back to the villa – just a taste of what’s to come.
We kick off from Villa Pitiana and stop for a coffee break in charming Arezzo. Then it’s on through gentle hills to Cortona for a relaxed lunch, before wrapping up the day at our hotel in the historic city of Perugia.
Leaving Perugia behind, we ride into the mountains with a scenic stop for sandwiches packed with local salami and cheese. We take in the breathtaking plateau of Castelluccio, grab a coffee in Amatrice, and end the day in the stunning Castello di Postignano.
After breakfast with a view, we head to Acquasparta for a morning coffee. A pizza lunch in Orvieto and a quick espresso in Città della Pieve keep us fueled up as we cruise toward the charming town of Pienza for the night.
Our final stretch kicks off with a coffee stop (and an unexpected tire repair) in Asciano. Then it’s off to Greve in Chianti for a proper butcher’s lunch before the grand return to Villa Pitiana – full of stories, photos, and unforgettable memories.
