Alps Deluxe RTV2501

What a fantastic way to kick off the tour! We started the day at Hotel Eden in Seefeld, greeted by clear skies and crisp mountain air – pure riding bliss. Our first highlight was the Top Mountain Motorcycle Museum at Timmelsjoch, where incredible bikes and a fresh coffee set the tone. Lunch came with a view at a mountain restaurant above Lana, overlooking the stunning Adige Valley. After more curves and smiles, we stopped for coffee at the scenic Mendel Pass. The day ended in style at the elegant Parkhotel Laurin in Bolzano – an unforgettable start to this adventure.
We rolled out of Bolzano in the early morning light, Dolomite peaks already calling in the distance. Our first break came at the cozy Agriturismo Maso Corradini in Castello di Fiemme – great coffee, even better mountain vibes. The ride up to Passo Rolle was pure magic, with jaw-dropping views of the Dolomites all around. After a hearty lunch at Rifugio Cereda on the Cereda Pass, we dove into the hidden gem of the day: Valle del Mis. A long, relaxed coffee stop at Lago di Mis gave us time to soak in the calm. Just before sunset, we hit the switchbacks of Passo San Boldo for a quick photo session before arriving at our majestic overnight stop – the castle of Castel Brando. A day packed with curves, scenery, and unforgettable moments!
Another day in paradise – leaving Castel Brando wasn’t easy, but the promise of more epic riding kept us moving. We cruised through the rolling hills of the Prosecco region, vineyards stretching as far as the eye could see. The climb up to Monte Grappa, standing tall at 1,770 meters and steeped in WWI history, was both peaceful and powerful. Though the fog stole the views, the empty roads and smooth riding more than made up for it. After a relaxed lunch in the charming town of Bassano del Grappa, we made our way to Asolo – a picture-perfect village and our cozy home for the night.
We left the charming village of Asolo and headed up into cooler air – first stop: Asiago for a morning coffee and mountain flair. Lunch awaited us at Passo Vezzena with local cheese, ham, grilled meats, and sausages – rustic, hearty, delicious! The ride continued über some epic passes: Passo del Sommo, Borcola, Xomo, and Xon – each curve more intense than the last. But with the thermometer pushing 38°C, we decided to give the throttle a break and hit the highway straight to Verona. We arrived at Hotel Due Torri, ready for a well-earned rest day – time to explore, recharge, and maybe enjoy a spritz or two in the heart of this beautiful city.
After days in the saddle, Verona gave us the perfect blend of culture and calm. We strolled through the historic old town, explored the impressive Arena di Verona, and crossed the iconic Ponte Castelvecchio – soaking in the charm of this timeless city. The rest of the day? Pure relaxation. We hit the spa, let the miles melt away, and recharged body and mind. Exactly what a rest day should feel like.
We set off early in the morning from Verona, quickly leaving the city behind. Quiet country roads lead us toward Mori, where the winding climb up the pass rewards us with fantastic views over the Adige Valley. Around midday, we stop at a mountain inn – fresh pasta with mushrooms and cheese hits the spot, simple but delicious. Back on the bikes, we tackle Monte Baldo: endless curves, crisp mountain air, and stunning views of Lake Garda. In Malcesine, the ferry takes us across the water to Gardone Riviera – a perfect end to a great day on the road.
We started the day along the shores of Lake Garda, cruising out of Gardone Riviera and soon hitting the stunning road along Lago di Valvestino – narrow, winding, and absolutely magical. Our first coffee stop came with a lakeside breeze at Lago d’Idro – peaceful, scenic, perfect. For lunch, we slowed things down with a fantastic Slow Food experience at La Corte di Bacco in Edolo – pure flavor and local charm. The absolute highlight of the day followed: the legendary Gavia Pass. Narrow, dramatic, and breathtakingly beautiful – an unforgettable ride. We ended the day in style at the luxurious QC Terme Bagni di Bormio – Bagni Nuovi, where natural hot springs and alpine views provided the ultimate reward.
Our final riding day pulled out all the stops – a true pass-fest through the Alps! We left Bormio early and climbed over Passo di Foscagno and Passo d’Eira, heading straight for a coffee stop in duty-free Livigno. From there, the ride got wilder: the scenic Ofenpass, the twisty Umbrail, and then the legendary Stelvio – where we grabbed a classic Bratwurst from Bruno at the top. After descending the serpentines, we rolled on through Reschenpass, Finstermünzpass, and Piller Höhe, soaking in the last alpine curves. A second coffee break in the charming village of Glorenza gave us a moment to reflect. We ended the ride at the Edelweiss Bike Travel headquarters in Mieming before transferring to Hotel Eden in Seefeld – where we celebrated an unforgettable tour with a delicious farewell dinner.
