Passo dello Stelvio, Stilfser Joch _________________________________________________________ Ultimate Alps Tour. CUA1301. Day 1. The first Ultimate Alps Tour took off. An International group from Kuala Lumpur (Malasya), Australia,  U.S.A., Brasil, Austria, Germany and Spain started at Mieming, close to Edelweiss Bike Travel Headquarter. Riding to the south we leave Austria to enter in Italy and later into Switzerland. The day presents us a bit of everything: a bit of rain, a bit of snowfall (at the top of Stilfser Joch or  Passo dello Stelvio), a bit of clouds ,..and suddenly sunshine,..welcome to Italy,...then....why not to cross over the Gavia Pass (Passo di Gavia),....To finish this incredible day we get into Pontresina. We had a stunning and challenging riding day that we will, for sure, keep in our minds for ever....!!! _________________________________________________________ Ultimate alps Tour. Day 2 The sun shines as well as our smile when we ride throw St. Moritz, squeezing our Motorcycles down on the Maloja Pass we warm up our rides. The Splügen Pass surprised us with its tunnels sweeping up in the darkness on the southern side. The northen one has plennty of turns and switchbacks to offer....what a fun! Splügenpass San Bernardino Pass , Lukmanier Pass and Oberalp Pass are already on our agendas before we get Andermat and finally Göschenen our overnight destination in the middle of the unnoficial "Swiss Motorbike Paradise" and the door to the hidden Göschenenalp.....but that is a part of another story!...
