Donnerstag, 9. Juni 2016 | Laurens Corijn / Michael Göbel | Europa

Day 9

We rode from Keswick back down to Hinckley, through the Yorkshire Dales

Luis is proud he finished the tour! Victory pose!
Everybody enjoys a well-deserved boot-beer to celebrate the end of a great tour!

Day 8

We took the ferry back from Man to Heysham, and spent the day riding the Lake District to Keswick.

The beautiful scenery of the Lake District
The group heading up Hard Knott Pass
Officially the steepest pass in all of Europe, 33% slope!
The whole group managed it flawlessly!

Day 7

The day we were all waiting for, the famous Isle Of Man Tourist Trophy, one of the most exciting street races in the world!

The pit lane, when we started our lap on the racetrack on the island. Very early though, before any races.
Spectating from the grandstands.
Pitstops in front of the grandstands
Joe gets real close up to the racing action!
And a view of the Manx scenery away from the races. Surprisingly very peaceful and quiet.

Day 6

We rode up from the wonderful Betws-Y-Coed, to Liverpool, where the Isle Of Man Steam Packet Company Ferry was awaiting us!

Another great day riding in North Wales. We are so lucky with the weather!
Welsh is a pretty interesting language... No, this is not a random collection of letters!
Castle Caernarfon
That evening, we got on the ferry to the long awaited Isle of Man..

Day 5

A fantastic day in great weather, we spent no time on the motorway, and instead took many small roads going from Cardigan to Betws-Y-Coed in North Wales!

Riding by the beautiful Welsh coast in terrific weather!
Coffee stop in Aberystwyth. Try saying that 5 times fast!
Our 5 Mexican bandidos, trying to stay out of trouble.
We had so much fun on this little single track, opening and closing gates everywhere and dodging sheep running in front of us!
One brave Explorer!
We conquered a small Welsh pass, and were rewarded with great views at the top!
Time to relax with this great view in the Riverside hotel, true to its name!

Day 4

We've made it to Wales yesterday, and enjoyed a great day from Abergavenny to Llechryd.

Photostop at a typical Welsh view! Joseph and Kim are admiring the view.
The roads here in Wales are just as small, but often more open.
A visit to Castle Pendine
Lovely view of the coast at our lunch stop.
And another castle, pembroke this time.
The group crossing Llechryd Bridge to the hotel.
Our lovely hotel, Hammet House.
The Tigers get another night rest.
And we enjoy another great dinner!

Day 3

A long day, we covered a lot of distance from Exeter, picking up Stonehenge and the heading to Abergavenny in South Wales.

We had a long ride to classic Stonehenge
Our mexican guests at Stonehenge.
Scenic Lacock, where scenes from movies like Harry Potter have been recorded.

Day 2

We rode from Lynton past King Arthur's castle to our lovely hotel in the countryside near Exeter.

Ready to go for another day of riding in Cornwall and Devon!
The group going through Bocastle.
The new Camelot Castle where we had our lunch.
The whole group by the ocean!
You can't get much more British than this!
A typical view during our riding days! Just rolling hills and walls of green.
Luis & Luis relaxing at our beautiful hotel.
Meanwhile our trusty Tigers stand ready for another day.

Day1

We went from Hinckley to Lynton, some motorway, but finishing in style by riding by the ocean.

Our brand new Triumphs are ready for the guests to arrive
The group, from America and Mexico, is listening closely to the welcome briefing.
Instead of the Triumph Factory, we visited the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull.
Joseph points out to Carlos the shaft drive and inline-four engine on a funky old motorcycle.
Everybody agreed some of these would be nice to have for some of the English traffic
The ancestors of our current Triumph Tigers!
5 mexican amigos at the coffee stop.
Photo stop at St. Antony's.
Tigers by the ocean in Exmoor national park
Some great sweeping roads we ride here in the UK!
Alejandro brought some very nice, real Mexican Tequila for everybody to try after the riding was done. 100% Agave, very smooth!
A great way to end a nice day of riding, at the wonderful Heddon's Gate hotel!
