Day 9 - Pienza back to Rome

Day 8 - Siena to Pienza
the famous edelweiss picnic....
prepared by our new tourguide John
Bagnio Viginione....
....a thermal spa town since centuries....(be aware, the natural water here is hot!)

Day 7 - San Giminiano to Siena
after a ling riding day, a boot beer is the right thing...
a lot of cathedrals in Italy, but almost all of them are impressive
This incredible vista forms the backdrop for our daily briefing...

Day 6 - Florence to San Giminiano
i think i don't have to mention where we are in the moment...
people are getting crazy in Pisa....
lets act like we don't know what they are doing...
now i know why they are saying humor is a thing of perspective...
right after all the weird people in Pisa, we are hitting the west coast of Italy
nice hotel, the pool is already a little bit cold in the evening...
who said the Van will not fit in a normal carpark...
poor guys next to us....but Italians are all skinny...

Day 5 - Restday Florence
after all this hard work, also a tourguide deserves a beer.... didn't know what they meant with "grande?"

beautiful art to see in this Italian metropole
i wouldn't say there are a lot of scooters in Florence....

Day 4 - San Marino to Florence
Tavullia- not everbody will know this town, but sure everybody of you petrolhead will know the guy who was born here- the legendary Valentino Rossi!
finally arrived in beautiful Florence- tomorrow we will have time to visit it, its a restday

Day 3 - Assisi to San Marino
the main plaza of europes oldest republic...
those small towns always let me want to walk trough....
hard to choose- between all the food of San Marinos Streetfoodfestival....
...or the fantastic food in the hotel restaurant

Day 2 - first riding day- Rome to Assisi
First stop in one of the many little towns we will see on this tour
typical Italian side roads... one of the reasons why we love this country

Day 1 - Arrival in the middle of Rome
The bikes are waiting for the riders, they are on the way from Canada and USA. The weather forecast is good so we are ready to go!
