Ducati Cordoba in Italy SPT22012

Montag, 9. Mai 2022 | Angela / Julia Marie Joy Hamm | Europa / Italien

The tour guides Julia and Angela welcome the Argentinian Ducatistas in Rome.
A group of twelve lively Argentinians from Cordoba have taken the leap over the big pond to ride Ducatis only in Italy. How much better can it get?

Welcome Briefing

Everything is prepared, and the work of the day is done.
Hello and welcome to the rider's meeting. We have picked the best places of central Italy for our customised tour.
Talking about the most important things you should know about Italy and the tour with Edelweiss in our rider's meeting.
Finally ... !! Big smiles and WOWs ... Theses Italian beauties are ours for the week
Excellent dinner in the hotel in Rome

First riding day - Rome to Assisi

Rome, as everyone can imagine, would be chaotic to ride through with any bigger group of motorcyclists. So we chose to take the highway circumnavigating Rome, leading us directly into Umbria, one of Italy's federal states. The medieval towns of Narni and Montefalco served as our rest stops. Besides, they are very impressively located on top of a rock. Finalizing our riding day in Assisi gives us the chance to relax with a view from our nice hotel

We almost arrived at our hotel for the night. But first we want to enjoy the beauty of Assisi from distance. What a stunning little town.
A beautiful lunch stop in Montefalco with typical italien cuisine!
What a tour! One great vantage point after the other. This one here in in Montefalco. Time for a group picture!
On our way to the next hotel we pass one of those typical cypress avenues.
Of course its worth a stop for a great new profile picture.
Our arrival at the lovely Hotel Giotto in Assisi. Make some noise for our Ducati Crew. Oh, no. Wait. They make some noise themselves.
Once the group had arrived in the hotel in Assisi, they got changed and ready for a walk through the old town.
The church and cloister of Franz of Assisi, of course, is a must-see in Assisi.
We have two different groups within our group Those who prefer playing with their phones ...
... and those who prefer ice cream
It's official. You can not catch the full beauty of a sunset in a photo (at least we tried). But you can watch incredibly beautiful sunsets from the terrace of the Giotto Hotel in Assisi.

Second riding day - Assisi to San Marino

Excitement, whenever I see our happy riders with those twelve beautiful powerful Italien Ladies!
They attract attention, wherever we go. This lovely picture was taken during our stop in Urbino.
Next time you'll visit Tavullia - look out for the Edelweiss sticker
We met some new Italien friends on our stop in Tavullia. They were enjoying a wine in the afternoon sun. So typical for the Italien lifestyle. It was a great experience to join them, of course with a coffee or coke, as we still had a few more kilometers on the bike till we arrived our hotel in San Marino!
After a great day even the cappuccino is happy

Third riding day - San Marino to Bologna

Last picture infant of one of the impressive towers of San Marino. Where is your motorcycling gear, Julia? Oh. It's Van Day. Angela will lead the group through beautiful curvy roads today.
The daily briefing arouses anticipation. Can we start the engines please?!
Last advices of the day. Angela has some important tips before we start the tour from San Marino to Bologna!
Fresh focaccia with italien cold cuts. Sometimes the simple things are unbeatable.
Picnic stop at Passo del Muraglione. All these beautiful curvy roads cause lots of fun, but also great hunger!
At the end of the day our italien ladies are hungry, too!

Fourth riding day - Bologna to Siena

One of the Highlights of our Tour! We visit the Ducati Factory, Museum and Store! Let's go!
Luckily Multis were allowed, too!
Our Tourguide Angela just fell in love. We ain't sure if this Ducati DesertX is still to be found in the Ducati Museum or if it already found its way to Angelas Garage.
A room full of historic bikes makes our hearts beat faster.
Say. "ucatiiiiiiiiiiiiii"
If we have had a good time? Just look at these happy faces and you know!

Fifth riding day - Siena to Rome

You can call it rain, you can call it fluid sunshine. But in any way - we are having a great time!
Time passed bye so quickly and we look back to a great week! But before our ways will spread tomorrow morning, we enjoy our last night at the Hotel in Rome!
Julia exchanged her helmet with this funny crown for the last dinner. She came to the conclusion helmets will be more useful in her life though.
