Thailand Extreme 2403
Our international group from US, Canada, England and Germany arrived in Chiang Mai and can't wait to start the tour tomorrow.
A great first day with a great group! Twisty roads and beautiful scenery. Temples, mountains and curves. What a day!
We had some rain today, but we still had a great riding day on the 1148, one of the ten best motorcycle roads in the world, and the 1181. It is motorcycle paradise!
This group did not want to rest, so we did a big loop around Nan. Along tje border to Laos we had some intense riding, met some waterbuffalos along the way and had a good noodle soup for lunch.
A big day today, fantastic riding and scenery along the Lao border, waterfall for lunch, Phu Chi Fa a stunning lookout and the Mekong, the lifeline of Southeast Asia. Not to forget pur great hotel Ban Sakuna Resort.
Leaving our beautiful hotel was hard and we had some rain today too, but we managed all challenging roads without any problem. Golden Triangle was not the highlight, it was the riding and the group.
What a day! Great riding on the jungle track, the road of the thousand curves to Pai and a bath st the waterfall. The road conditions were sometimes challenging with a lot of mud, but the group managed it well.
Yesterday the road of the thousand curves, today the two thousand curves to Mae Hongson and the boat ride to the Longneck village.
Unfortunately our last riding day, but a good one. Curves and scenery and lunch at a big waterfall. Coming into Chiang Mai was hard and hot, but the group did really well. Thanks to a great group and hope to see you again.
