Pyrenees Extreme 4PE2501

On our first day we left the hotel in Castelldefels and went straight on the highway to skip the dense traffic in the city. As we are 18 Riders we decided to split the group into two smaller ones and will continue riding in those groups for the next days. After leaving the highway we drove along the Monserat and not only found twisty roads but also a nice place for a coffee. As the day went on, the roads got more narrow and the turns got tighter all the way up to the highlight pass of the day, the Coll de Bóixols. As we rode down this pass the turns would just not stop, so ultimately we arrived around 8 at our hotel, which was a monastery back in the day, after doing almost 400km on small roads.
After a very long first day and a good night's rest we were ready to take on the next day. Our first goal was to climb on top of the Coll D'Ares Montsec, a pass that we like to call a 'goat pass', because on some parts there is just a lack of pavement. Zooming up and down more twisty roads we found our way riding along the Benasque National park with it's 3000m tall peaks. Riding in a beautiful canyon along the river we found a nice place to eat some lunch. In the afternoon right before arriving to Pamplona part of the group took a dive in a nice blue lake to cool off on this hot day.
On our Restday in Pamplona we decided to go for a short ride to still have some time in the afternoon to enjoy the beautiful city that we are in.
Today was just another beautiful day! We had perfect weather, the roads were nice and empty and we drove through beautiful villages and valleys.
Besides perfect weather and clear views we enjoyed stunning roads with beautiful views. A new highlight was the ride through a real natural cave - called Grotte du Mas D´Azil. There is a real road goinf through ist!!
Incredible day - turns an twisties all day long from start off the hotel in the morning until arival to the sport next hotel :-) 350 km of fun!! Highligts : famous tour de France pass Port de Pailheres which is the second highest Pass of our tour. Again: Phantastic views!
Unfortunately this is already our last riding day..... In the end of our fantastic tour everyone is back at the place we started out a week ago.
