NTC2502 (12.07.2025 - 18.07.2025 ) - Touring Center Norway

It's the start of our unforgettable journey! Welcome to the start of our tour in Alesund. Today at 5 pm we met for the first time and that means we start with our welcome briefing. After a short round of introductions, we got straight to the most exciting part: What will we see - Where will we go..... I was able to answer all these questions directly with my little drawing and the gleam in their eyes told me that almost everyone wanted to set off straight away. Norway is also a beautiful country!!! Well, you need something else to get going and you'll guess what! A motorcycle, so at the end of the briefing we were given the much-anticipated keys. Then it was time to equip the motorcycles with everything you need for the day before we went to our first meal together. A little tip on the side: If you do this tour or our North Cape tour. Then it's worth arriving a day early because Alesund invites you to linger and spoils you with a fantastic atmosphere, numerous restaurants and homemade ice cream. And on top of that, it is simply beautiful here. See for yourself - here are a few pictures. See you tomorrow for our first riding day Axel
Here we go!!! Our first driving day and we have decided to drive to Runde. Better known as the bird island. The perfect route for the start of our tour!!! About 210 km long and with great weather, what else could you wish for, right? After a perfect breakfast, we went to our first morning briefing and then straight onto the bikes, because we all wanted to see more of Norway. As soon as we left Alesund, Norway spoiled us with the first dreamlike moments. Our route takes us along small winding roads to our first ferry. The water on one side of the road and the beautiful green landscape on the other was a dream. After the short ferry ride, we crossed the beautiful island of Hareid and crossed a bridge to Gurskøya. From there it wasn't far to Runde, where we parked the motorcycles to face our first real challenge. We had one goal and that was to get up to the plateau and the cliffs of Runde. As you can see, the short hike was quite intense. However, if you look at the pictures, you can see straight away that every drop of sweat from the climb was worth it! Unfortunately, the puffins had decided to go hunting and so there was only one puffin left for a photo. Too bad, but in the end the view was the highlight. After the descent, it was time for a snack before we made our way back to Alesund. But not so fast! The drive back wasn't just a drive back, no, we drove along the coastal road of Gurskøya, which gave us a very good taste of the beauty of Norway for the upcoming days. As I said, it was a fantastic start to the tour and tomorrow we're going to do even better! Because we'll start early and make our way to the world-famous Gairanger Fjord. You can already look forward to tomorrow's pictures and impressions!!! See you later Axel
Today we went to the famous Gairanger Fjord What can I say: This day had it all!!! After the first ferry, Norway revealed its incredibly beautiful nature. No matter where you looked, there were waterfalls, impressive mountain ranges and breathtaking fjords. I don't think there was a moment where you didn't want to take a picture. The trip to Jostedalsbreen National Park alone would have made this day something very special. But at that point it was only half of this impressive day. Because the journey really started from there! On the way to Dalsnibba, we drove through one tunnel after another. And every time we came out of the tunnel, the landscape changed. From green forests and fields to jagged rock formations and snowfields. When we reached the top at the highest point of this tour, everyone's eyes were wide, because no one in the group would have thought that the morning could be topped. The view was simply indescribably beautiful. From there we went all the way down to Gairanger Fjord. All this on a fantastically beautiful winding road. Once we reached the bottom, we were rewarded with an ice cream. Well, and then we went straight on to the ferry which took us through the entire Gairanger Fjord. See for yourself what a spectacular scenery it was. It was a fantastic day that we won't forget in so quick and as the next highlight is already waiting for us tomorrow, it's time to go to bed. Enjoy the pictures and we'll see you tomorrow Axel
It's going to be mystical, because today we're entering the world of trolls!!! I wonder if anyone has ever seen one? I don't know, but if you spend some time here in Norway and look in the souvenir stores, then there must be something to it and they do exist. In any case, it was a wonderful day's driving. We started a little later than yesterday, but early enough to avoid the stream of tourists at the highlight of the day as much as possible. First we headed towards and along the Romsdal Fjords. A coffee later we were off to our first highlight, Trollvegen. Already on the way to the photo stop, Europe's highest rock face (3,300 ft) impressed with its meijestetic sight. And if you imagine people climbing straight up there, it's just crazy. A few pictures later we continued towards and up the Trollstigen. The drive into the valley alone is worth coming here. At the beginning you drive into the valley on a narrow road, which is surrounded by trees. And as soon as the trees clear, you see the end of the valley and the pass road up to the Trollstigen. From here on you feel as if you were in the Alps or the Dolomites. A winding road with hairpin bends makes its way towards the summit and the landscape around you makes it more than difficult to concentrate on the road. Once we reached the summit, we parked our bikes and enjoyed the unique view. Just look at the pictures! For me a: Must Do Once in a Lifetime!!! Then we headed down on the other side towards Valldal. Doesn't sound too exciting at first, but that's deceptive because this valley is known for its strawberry fields. Yes, that's right, strawberry fields & that in Norway and they are really good!!! So the drive down the valley is a dream come true moment. At the beginning waterfalls to the right and to the left and at the end you can the smell of ripe strawberries while driving. The rest of the journey back to Alseund was filled with tunnels and more bends along the numerous fjords and to top it all off we drove up to the famous Aksla viewpoint high above Alesund.. I would say that this day can easily keep up with yesterday. Well, and tomorrow? Tomorrow we're going on a fjord day! I won't tell you what that means yet, you'll have to check back tomorrow. See you tomorrow Axel
Let's go - A new day, a new adventure. Welcome to the day of the fjords. Today we are heading south again from Alesund. And seven impressive fjords await us. It was a wonderful day of driving, and driving day is the best way to describe it. Because today we are away from the tourist crowds, and the road is ours. We were sometimes even completely alone on the road. Our route meandered from one fjord to the next on wonderfully winding roads. It was a motorcyclist's paradise!!! And because it was going so well, we drove to the Vestkapp/Western Cape as an extra highlight. And we will remember this trip forever. Why? Because it is a scenic highlight. In addition, this day was by far the most beautiful of the tour so far. Pure enjoyment probably sums it up best when I think about it. Well, tomorrow is the last day of the tour. It's crazy how time flies when you're experiencing something. It'll be interesting to see what we experience tomorrow, because we're going to bed now to enjoy tomorrow to the full with our batteries fully charged Axel
The last trip together Today, time is flying by and we're leaving the garage together for the last time. The destination: ATLANTERHAVSVEGEN (ATLANTIC ROAD) It was a wonderful last trip and Norway, like every single day before, didn't disappoint us one bit!!! We left Alesund with the sun on our faces and headed north. Along the fjords our route took us to Bud and where you can visit one of the many German fortifications from the 2nd World War. A few photos later, we made our way to today's highlight, the Atlantic Road. If you can see the bridge and the islands around it, it will certainly look familiar. A sight that is the flagship of the region. But before we took the pictures, we first drove over the bridge to have a bite to eat in a small restaurant. Then it was time for the Sally Steven moment - the two of them had already done the Viking tour and our North Cape tour, but this moment was missing from their to-do list. So this day is in the name of the two of them. A few pictures later we continued towards Molde where we took the ferry to Alesund. Even though it was another wonderful day on our tour, the thoughts of being on the road together for the last time are there. It's a strange feeling, especially when you've grown together like we have in such a short time. Well, and at the end, we came full circle and the tour ended as it had begun. I got the motorcycle keys back and then we went for a farewell meal. That was our last day of riding - so fast but a lot of memories that we will never forget. Thank you for a wonderful tour from my side Your Tour Guide Axel
Well The NTC 2502 group says goodbye and see you next time - our trip may be over but it was definitely not the last!!! So there is only one thing left to say: See you soon - somewhere on this beautiful planet on two wheels
