4YS2501 - Destination Yamaha - High Alps & Dolomites

Today was our first riding Day. Our first destination was Kühtai, the highest ski resort in Austria. Here we could enjoy a warm cup of coffee or tea. Our highlight of the day took us to the Timmjoch, where the Top of Motorcycle Museum had many exciting rarities in store. After crossing the border into Italy, the first hairpin bends took us into the Sarntal valley, where the route finally led us to our destination of Bolzano.
Today was actually the Rest Day in Bolzano, but the customers wanted to have a look at the beautiful Dolomites.. First we went to Kaserer Chapel. We then made our first coffee stop on the pass and enjoyed a delicious cappuccino and apple strudel. At lunchtime, the Rolle Pass was on the agenda - a mountain pass at an altitude of almost 2,000 m with a fantastic view of the Dolomites. Before we headed back towards Bolzano, we were able to admire the crystal-clear Lago di Carrezza once again. All in all, it was a great day's riding with the best weather.
Today we headed west and therefore to many great passes in Italy. Before we set off, we first drove through many wine-growing areas and apple orchards. At the end we went to the Paso del tonale and the highlight of the day, the Gavia pass with its more than 2600m. Below the Gavia Pass, we were able to enjoy the dolce vita of Italy, pizza and pasta for lunch. Finally, we reached our destination for the day, Livigno, a ski resort at over 1700 m with lots of stores and tax-free offers.
Today's plan was a tour of Switzerland. We first drove out of Livignio towards the Bernina Pass. Here we had a spectacular view of the Swiss glacier. After returning to The Valley, we visited an art café in Samedan. Two more passes, including the Albula Pass and Flüel Pass, were tackled on the way back along the reservoir towards Livigno. All in all, a very great day.
The last day of riding was upon us and with it the famous Stelvio Pass. We first drove out of Livignio and then reached the pass after just under 50 switchbacks. We then continued on to the Sunken Church on Lake Rechensee. After we slowly made our way back to Austria, we ended the evening with fond memories of the tour.
