CAS2502-The Pearls of the Adriatic in fall
Today our journey continues, from the beautiful island of Hvar by ferry back to the mainland and through the Neretva Delta to the historic town of Ston. In the afternoon, we continue along the mountainous coast with stunning views of the Dalmatian islands until we reach our destination, Dubrovnik.
After breakfast, we head straight to Dubrovnik's Old Town to explore this historic site in peace before the tour buses arrive. A short stroll with a scoop of ice cream and then back to the hotel to change clothes before riding our motorcycles through Bosnia to Kotor in Montenegro.
Today is a rest day in Kotor. What a beautiful place to stroll through the city, relax by the pool, go for a swim in the bay, or take a motorbike ride around Lovcen National Park and enjoy the fantastic scenery.
We left Kotor after relaxing rest day and headed inland over mountains, to our next destination and third and final country on our tour - Bosnia and Herzegovina. Just before leaving Montenegro and beautiful bay off Kotor we stopped for an amazing photo over the bay saying goodbye. Soon a fast widing road took us to Bosnia and first thing we did is try Bosnian coffee! Local restaurant even prepared delicious omlets. After break we rided incredible roads surrounded by unspoiled nature. few drops of rain did not stop us and we reached Mostar quite early, allowing us to really explore this amazing city and its 'Kriva čuplja' (old stone arch bridge). Day finished almost as it started with incredible Bosnian grill food!
Our longest day of the tour! But what a day! More winding roads, more incredible landscape, it just kept coming before returnig back to Croatia and the Adriatic coast. There is no tour over Adriatic without a tire puncture moment. Today was the day and Tourguides made sure everyone made it safely to Zadar. Full of emotions and memories we returned to coast. Zadar awaits us for another rest day. Special thanks to Andrew and Stacey from Tourguide team for a surprise gift that will certanly keep us warm
Rest day in Zadar - free choice for everyone. Some went to beach, some enjoyed the city and some rided freely and some rided and explored with Edelweiss team. tourguide Peter took those who wanted to ride one of best roads around while tourguides Tom and Jure accompanied those visiting Krka national park. Everyone had a blast regardless of activity and thats the main purpose of rest day at the footstep of Zadar old town
Unfortunately, it's that time again, and the last day of our tour has arrived 😒 but the weather is beautiful, and great roads await us. The landscapes in the hinterland, the lakes of Krka National Park, and the historical sights will give us another fantastic day together on our motorcycles. Until we arrive back in Split's city center this afternoon, where one last wonderful dinner awaits us. Thanks to the great group for the wonderful days with you 😃 and hopefully see you soon.
