A successful and intense year is drawing to a close, but even in the middle of December, motorcycling is still underway. And this is happening at the 28th latitude, right in the middle of the Atlantic. This, however, is the last tour for this year. Riders from Tennessee, Arizona, Canada, and Austria met up in the Canary Islands to ride on three of the seven islands.
The early start pays back with the best roads you can imagine. Not only because there is almost no traffic, the tarmac is perfect and the turns are countless besides a breathtaking scenery
The biggest island offers the highest mountain, El Teide, and roads up to 7500 ft. Worth doing it twice, today and tomorrow. The temperatures drop significantly but with the right riding gear - pure enjoyment.
The day started very promising, but soon the fog and later the rain got us. All the hope for better conditions has been ignored and so the camera stayed dry - deep in the pocket.
The payback day for yesterday's rainy weather. Gran Canaria gave us the best possible impressions - sun all day long. A pure pleasure to ride the curviest roads from North to South, from East to West.
Again the morning looks good, but soon we encountered strong winds with heavy rain on our way to the ferry. But we all made it safe onboard. The last highlight is waiting on Tenerife, tzjhe famous TF-28 road. Will it be dry?
