Croatia to Greece Delta Motors Argentina

Today our tour begins with a group “welcome briefing”; we’ll all meet on the terrace of our starting hotel for a welcome drink. After the briefing and answering any questions, our guests will receive the keys and paperwork for their motorcycles, after which everyone will head to the garage to pick them up. Once we’ve gone over how to operate the motorcycles, it’ll already be time for dinner. Tonight we’ll eat out and celebrate one of the participants’ birthdays. Afterward, we’ll turn in early so we can start tomorrow well-rested.
The sun is shining, the temperature is pleasant—everything is perfect for the start of our tour. We leave Dubrovnik on the coastal road heading toward Montenegro. Along the way, we’re treated to stunning views of the bays and offshore islands of the Croatian Adriatic coast. After crossing the border and a short coffee break, we take a ferry to avoid the detour along a large bay. We then head into the mountains of Montenegro, where we can finally enjoy riding on beautiful curves and in pleasant traffic conditions. After a short detour to Podgorica, we reach Kolasin in the mountains of Montenegro.
Today is a so-called rest day; most of our motorcyclists are taking a short trip to the Tara Valley and Durmitor National Park. In the winter season, there are wonderful ski slopes here, and in the summer, you can go hiking and definitely enjoy some beautiful views from your motorcycle. Some guests are staying in town and strolling through the streets before heading to the hotel’s wellness area and pool.
On this still-cool morning, we set off in the sunshine for another day of riding. First, we head over the Tresnjevik Pass, a beautiful mountain road that takes us up to just under 1,600 meters; after the descent, we stop for a coffee break by the lake, as we’ll then be crossing the border from Montenegro into Albania. Now we head into the Albanian Alps, a rugged landscape with magnificent views. Half an hour after lunch, the group splits up, as some want to enjoy the hotel and its facilities or take a stroll through town. The rest of us ride over the Teth Pass once more into the mountains, home to Europe’s southernmost glaciers. An incredible day.
Off to new horizons—after a night in Albania, we set off for North Macedonia. But first, we ride along reservoirs, through valleys, rolling countryside, and mountain passes. Once we’ve cleared border formalities, a stretch of road awaits that’s sure to get any motorcyclist’s heart racing. There’s little traffic on a road with a great surface, winding through forests along the river. After passing through Ohrid, we arrive at our hotel on the shores of Lake Ohrid.
A little loop around the largest lake of Macedonia, back again into Albania, great riding, great food and lots of fun ...
We leave the stone city and cross the boarder into greece. A spectacular ride, no traffic, and after one million turns we finally reach Meteora
Today is Restday. All group went up to visit the monasteries of Meteora.
After our rest day, we’re now switching from Christian monasteries to Greek gods. On the way to Delphi, we drive through the Central Greek Mountains, also known as the backbone of Greece. We wind our way down winding roads past Mount Parnassus, heading down to Delphi. Upon arrival at the hotel, most participants head to the Temple of Apollo to consult the oracle.
Today, our route takes us to the coast of the Gulf of Corinth. We follow the coast until we reach the Rion-Antirion Bridge. After crossing this impressive structure, we arrive on the Peloponnese and snap a few photos. We then travel through the rugged mountainous landscape of the peninsula to Olympia, the ancient site of the Olympic Games, which is dedicated to the god Zeus.
another great riding day, good coffee stops and a lovely picnic ... and a beautiful hotel
blue sky, sun is out, road condition is awesome, and at the end of the day the feeling was great and the corners we did were around 380.000. what a day.
Today is our final day of riding. Once again, we’re blessed with perfect motorcycle weather. We wind our way through the mountains and along the coast once more. Then we cross the Corinth Canal. After lunch, we head straight to Athens, as all the guests want to visit the Parthenon on the Acropolis. At the farewell dinner, we reflect on our experiences. Everyone agrees that this was an incredible adventure, that they’ve made new friends, and that the next tour should be planned as soon as possible.
