Ducati Tour to World Ducati Week in Rimini

On a sunny and hot summer day we welcome our friends with one of the most beautiful Motorcycles on the Market. The Ducati Multistrade V4.
The day starts with a sunshine and a delicious breakfast. After our welcome briefing we jump on our Ducatis and hit the road. It's our first riding day with a distance of 140 miles. With a coffee stop in the morning where we got served a typical desert called "Kaiserschmarrn". A lunch stop at noon including a perfect view down to the river Danube and a ferry ride on lake Lipno. On empty back country road we enjoyed riding through the sweet Bavarian hills and the Bavarian Forest.
We woke up to another very hot day on the second day of our ride. After enjoying a great breakfast at the Bellevue Hotel, we started the day full of energy. Our goal was to reach the Austrian lakes by the afternoon. Altogether, 137 miles were waiting for us. We headed south, following the Vltava (Moldau) River. Traffic was very busy, as the river is a popular destination for water sports. After leaving the Czech Republic, we entered the third country of our journey – Austria. After a short ferry crossing over the Danube, we stopped in Schlögen, where we enjoyed our lunch break with a beautiful view of the famous Danube bend. Shortly afterwards, we visited Engelszell Abbey. The abbey church was breathtaking, and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere within its ancient walls. The abbey was founded in 1293. We also visited the lovely Café Sissi, named after Empress Sissi. As the day went on, the temperature continued to rise, reaching over 40°C at times. Continuing our journey south, we rode through a beautiful landscape of grain fields and small forests before arriving at the stunning Lake Traunsee in Gmunden.
A wonderful morning arises and we cant wait to sit on our Motorcycles again. 4 Lakes and 3 passes are waiting for us. Nobody will believe it but we where alone on the roads. Streets where in a great shape and we went up and down the mountains of the lake district. Riding through the beautiful curves felt like the blue river danube dance.
After the storm the previous evening, we woke up to a beautiful day. The sun was shining, the temperature had dropped a little, and the weather was simply perfect for riding. Our third day on the bikes promised to be one of the highlights of the trip. The plan was spectacular: ride the famous Grossglockner High Alpine Road, cross into Italy, and continue toward the breathtaking Dolomites. Our hotel’s location was ideal, allowing us to reach the entrance to the High Alpine Road early, before it became crowded. As we climbed through countless switchbacks, surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Alps, every turn revealed another unforgettable view. Eventually, we reached the Edelweißspitze, where we stopped to take in the breathtaking panorama of the surrounding mountains. After leaving the Grossglockner High Alpine Road through the south gate, we continued into Italy under brilliant blue skies, enjoying every kilometer of the ride. The afternoon, however, brought an unexpected twist. Our original route had to change dramatically when the pass we had planned to cross was closed. To make matters more challenging, the weather turned against us. Heavy traffic and persistent rain made the final stretch much slower than expected, turning the ride into a real adventure. Despite all the obstacles, we finally arrived safely at our hotel. Tired but happy, we ended an unforgettable day by celebrating with a delicious dinner at a rooftop restaurant—the perfect way to finish another incredible day on the road.
Today was our Birthday Ride as we celebrated our friend Anthony! 🎉🏍️ After our rest day in Bolzano, we woke up to yet another perfect day for riding. Our plan was ambitious: crossing the Dolomites and descending into the Venetian Alps to reach Bassano del Grappa. We started with a slight detour to the beautiful Lago di Carezza (Lake Karer), a true jewel hidden among the mountains. The scenery was simply breathtaking. After countless enjoyable curves, we made our next stop at Passo di Lavazè, where we visited the lovely local agriturismo Malga Daiano da Nello for a coffee and a refreshing drink. Continuing our journey through the Dolomites from north to south, we chose Passo Rolle, where we stopped to capture some amazing photos. During the afternoon, we encountered a brief shower, but it wasn’t enough to stop us from conquering the highest point before Bassano: the legendary Monte Grappa. Standing high above the Venetian Plain (Pianura Veneta), it rewarded us with spectacular views. The distant sound of thunder rolling in from the north reminded us that it was time to leave the summit behind and continue toward our final destination, Bassano del Grappa. Ralph was already waiting for us, and as we enjoyed our well-earned Prosecco beside the bikes, the storm finally arrived. Luckily, we were already safe and dry. Another perfect riding day in the books. DWD – we’re coming!
The queen of Alpine passes awaits us. We can hardly wait to meet her, so we set off a bit earlier—at 6:30 am, to be precise. No breakfast, just the thrill of riding our motorcycles! We finally had breakfast at the foot of the mountain and then ride up the 48 hairpin bends. It was a pure pleasure!
After a night of rain, the heat ended and we enjoyed riding at about 25 degrees Celcius. First we had a stop in Citadella to have a look at the old Fortress. Second we went to visit chioggia a loveley mediterraen City at the adriatic sea. With its canals it looks like the little sister of Venice. After we had a lunchbreak there we came back to our Motorcycles to ride along the river Po to our next stop the Ducati factory shop in Bologna to see the latest merchandise products from Ducati. A special place to all the Ducati fans!
Our final day on the road had arrived. We started the morning at the Ducati Museum before heading into the factory for an unforgettable guided tour. Seeing the birthplace of these iconic motorcycles up close is an experience that will stay with us for a long time. Leaving Bologna, our first stretch followed the highway towards Rimini. The roads were busy, filled with fellow Ducatisti all heading in the same direction, creating a unique atmosphere of anticipation. Soon we left the motorway behind and turned towards the Apennines, riding through beautiful rolling landscapes on our way to San Marino—the world’s oldest surviving republic and one of its smallest countries. We stopped in a charming village for lunch, enjoying traditional rustic Italian countryside cuisine before continuing our climb. Perched high atop Mount Titano, San Marino has defied time and conquerors alike, proudly preserving its independence for more than 1,700 years. Wandering through its narrow cobbled streets, centuries of history unfold around every corner, while breathtaking views stretch across the surrounding countryside to the Adriatic Sea. Leaving this remarkable hilltop republic behind, we soon descended to the Adriatic coast and arrived in Rimini, our final destination. Our journey may have reached its end, but the highlight still awaited us: joining thousands of Ducatisti at the Misano World Circuit to celebrate 100 years of Ducati—a fitting finale to an unforgettable adventure.
