High Alpine Tour
So we get started! The bikes are washed and checked, Hotel Henry welcomes us as friendly as always. Thank you for that! We are looking forward to get to know our guests from USA and Guatemala.
Our first Riding Day welcomed us with perfect summer weather, beautiful stopovers and the Highlight of the day the Grossglockner high alpine road. This road was constructed in the early 30th to increase employment and create new attractions for the upcoming private mobility in Germany . So this road is made for motorist tourism. Fantastic.
Starting in Lienz, we enjoyed a spectacular ride toward Bolzano under perfect blue skies and sunshine. The scenic Pustertal High Road treated us to stunning views and flowing curves right from the start. From there, we continued over Tre Croci and Falzarego, two legendary passes that offered breathtaking mountain scenery and fantastic riding. A special highlight of the day was our picnic at Valparola, thoughtfully prepared by Franz and enjoyed in an unforgettable setting. Surrounded by the majestic Dolomites, we took time to relax, recharge, and soak in the atmosphere. Refreshed and in great spirits, we headed on to the iconic Gardena Pass, where every corner brought another postcard-worthy view. The roads were in excellent condition, the weather could not have been better, and the riding was simply outstanding. Combined with a great group and plenty of laughter along the way, the day had everything a motorcycle tour should offer. By the time we arrived in Bolzano, we all agreed it had been a truly memorable stage of the journey.
We all decided to do the smaller loop. So everybody had some time in the afternoon in Bozen. The ride on to the Mendola Pass was fantastic and back the Gampenjoch the same.
From Bolzano to Pontresina: A Perfect Alpine Ride Today's route took us from Bolzano to Pontresina via the legendary Stelvio Pass. Under crystal-clear skies and perfect riding conditions, we enjoyed some of the best curves the Alps have to offer. Along the way, we stopped to visit the famous “Vinschgau Indianer” and paid a visit to Foto Kanyar to capture a few memorable moments. The adventure continued over the spectacular Passo Gavia, where every turn revealed another breathtaking mountain view. A surprise highlight of the day was a police “Control Show,” which added a little extra excitement to the ride. Fortunately, everything stayed relaxed and good-humored. With fantastic weather, endless twisties, and great company, it was another unforgettable Edelweiss motorcycle tour day.
This Morning welcomed us with a clear sky and fresh temperatures. Our first Pass today was a blast. No traffic and the views just spectacular. After the midday heat in the Rhein-valley we flew again into the mountains where we ended up in the fantastic hotel Jägeralpe in Warth.
From Warth to Erding – A Wonderful Journey Our tour took us from Warth through the beautiful Lechtal Valley all the way to Erding, surrounded by stunning Alpine scenery. Along the way, we enjoyed breathtaking landscapes, great company, and unforgettable moments. A photo stop with the famous Neuschwanstein Castle provided the perfect opportunity to capture a lasting memory. We also passed by the crystal-clear waters of Lake Plansee, one of the region’s true natural gems. Another highlight was the magnificent Ettal Abbey, with its impressive architecture and rich history. The combination of scenic roads, spectacular views, and a fantastic atmosphere made this a truly special trip. Above all, it was our wonderful guests who made the journey so enjoyable and memorable.
