DAY 7: MotoGP Mugello  Today is race day. With the MotoGP race in Mugello the highlight of the tour is on the program. 150000 visitors and we are there too... DAY 6: Siena to Florence It goes north! Florence is waiting for us - but it has still 210 kilometers to complete. Volterra, San Gimignano and the Chianti region are the highlights on our way to the capital of Tuscany. In fantastic weather, we are approaching the absolute highlight of the tour - the Moto GP race in Mugello.       DAY 5: Loop south of Siena Is there anything better than a good breakfast to climb a Ducati and have 200 kilometers with great curves ahead? I do not think so! Day 5 of our tour of Umbria and Tuscany proves it! Alongside great streets, we also visit the historic monuments of Monastery of San Galgano and Abbey Sant'Antimo. With the town of Montalcino, we also visit the center of Brunello winegrowing. So it is another great day ....     DAY 4: Assisi to Siena  Another great day is waiting for us. The route takes us from Assisi to Siena with stops in Orvieto, Montepulciano, Pienza and ... There are so many places of interest in southern Tuscany - we could be days on the bike and still would not have seen anything. The gothic city of Siena is our destination for the next two days. Tuscany at its best ... DAY 3: Loop around Assisi and Norcia There is nothing better that a perfect blue sky and a magnificient view from the breakfast terrace to get us in "riding mode". Late start today because the route is a bit shorter: around 190km towards Norcia - famous for truffle and wild boar salami - and then around the area of the Monti Sibillini. Some roads are still closed after the shocking earthquakes in fall 2016 and january 2017, some other roads are open and bumpy... we "carve" our way through the mountain for a day of rural scenery and green mountains. DAY 2: Rignano - Assisi Time to ride! A morning "warm up" lap over Passo della consuma, then a short sightseeing stop in La Verna with a sactuary dedicated to S. Francis and after a tasty lunch in "Il Grillo" we still have some time for  visiting the medieval town Gubbio. Ready to go! Tourguide Thomas just needs to find the gear ....:-) The streets of Assisi - pure fascination Ducati Scrambler and Tuscany - what a combination DAY 1: Around Florence and Welcome Briefing Today the sun is shining and sky is blue: a perfect warm welcome to Italy for our group of riders coming from United States, Brasil and Canada. Manuel is taking Chris and Mark for a Guided City Tour aroud the beautiful Florence, while his colleague Thomas is setting up the bikes for the welcome briefing.
