SPT18059: Taiwan in Alps!

Day 1: Seefeld to Pontresina  It's a beautiful sunny morning as we set out from Seefeld and head into Italy, the first of many border crossings on this tour. Just after the border we stop at the beautiful Reschen Lake and it's famous church tower. After lunch in Glurns,  the smallest town in Italy, we head into Switzerland and onto the first real mountain road of the tour. The Ofenpass is an ideal training ground for our tour,  full of switchbacks and sweepers.  Our next stop is in Livigno, for an excellent Italian espresso before crossing the border for the last time and making our way to Pontresina,  our stop for the night .
