27.7.13 - Through King Ludwig's lands, back to Erding

We left Warth in the morning just to drive towards king Ludwig's lands. After the coffeebreak at the castle Neuschwanstein we escaped the traffic jam and reached the picnic place at the Plansee. Jens was already waiting and prepared a perfect picnic. Some of the group jumped into the cooling water. So we went on, visited castle Linderhof and finally arrived well and happy in Erding. After the farewell - dinner we had to say goodbye and fell into our beds. Thanks to everybody for this fantastic week!

26.7.13 - Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria, Germany

We followed more passroads in Switzerland and reached Liechtenstein. One of the five smallest countries on the Earth. We were absolutely delighted by the great views when we drove towards Warth. We setted our rooms and spend a wonderful evening in the hotel Jägeralpe.

25.7.13 - The Queen of all mountain passes: Passo Dello Stelvio

Today the time came at last to ride up the queen of all mountain passes: Passo dello Stelvio. But first we stopped in the medieval city centre of Glorenza to have a wonderful Italian coffee. Then finally...48 switchbackes needed to be climbed up. Everybody did good and arrived well at the top of the pass. Bruno was ready and the sausages were already on the grill. So we had a excellent Hot Dog and went on. We passed the borders to Switzerland and arrived well in Pontresina.

24.7.13 - Rest day in Bolzano

Some of us took a  day off and enjoyed visiting the old tow of Bolzano, meeting the famous iceman Ötzi or finding souvenirs for those who had to stay home. Others left the city in the morning to climb some more passes: Jaufenpass and Penserjoch.

23.3.13 - Entering the Dolomites

We headed towards the impressive rock formations of the Dolomites. We climbed up the Passo di Falzarego and get our strenght back after we've had a fantastic Edelweiss - Picinic. We proceeded our ride through lovely South - Tyrolian villages and arrived in Bolzano. Sitting on the main square with a beer in the hand we let fed out another wonderful day!

22.7.13 - Grossglockner

After a rich breakfast, we left Erding and headed to Chimsee. There was the first coffestop. After the lunch (Käsespatz'n) we climbed up the Grossglockner. The weather was just fantastic. Everybody enjoyed the incredible views from the Edelweisspitze and the Franz Josefs Höhe. After a excellent dinner in Lienz we fell tired but happy in our beds.

Thank you Jenz and Thomas for a wonderful and most memorable trip...and thank you to the rest of the group (Pam, Joe, Fabio, Tom, Tim, Lannis, Frank and Mitch) for making it so much fun for me and the beast! This was a trip of a lifetime for me and it will never be forgotten.
Jenz and Thomas could not have made it any better with their hospitality, knowledge of the area and not to mention the lunches they produced on the two days in the Dolomites and the Lake at Plansee. God bless you both and I wish for your future trips to be as successful and beautiful as ours. You have touched all of our lives with this trip and I want to personally thank you for this and also for making me a much better rider here in the states. After those roads, I feel I can conquer just about any road here (LOL).
I hope to see you when you have the reunion tour on the east coast of the US.
