Best of Europe(BOE1402)

The Best of Europe Tour - a ride through the 5 best countries of Europe - Germany, France, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria - is just about to start. We are on the road with a quite international group of riders from Mexico, Canada, England, America, Slowenia and last not least 2 Tourguides from Germany. Cultural wise, food wise and last not least riding wise every day is a highlight.

Day 8 - Departure

A great week ends. Thank for everything - we enjoyed it very much. Hope to see you again - Ursula and Jens

Day 7 - Warth (Austria) -  Erding (Germany)

The Jägeralpe in Warth is a remote place next to a skilift which brings you up to one of the most famous skiing areas in Austria where Lady Di used to spend her winter holidays.

It cleared up - another sunny day. We cruised out the Lech valley direction Plansee

Day 6 - Schaffhausen(Switzerland) - Warth(Austria)

After a night in Switzerland we are ready for the next country... Austria!

But first we will follow the lake of Konstanz for a while, before we turn into the ALPS... the dream of every biker!

Swiss Cheese is the best... mmmmhhhh!

Day 5 - Ribeauville (France) - Schaffhausen (Switzerland)

We are leaving lovely Ribeauville by sunshine and clear sky and heading back to the Black Forest

We ending up in beloved Switzerland - in Schaffhausen. What a lovely country -  friendly guys at the customs, no speed limits, no restrictions, nice policeman, cheap drinks, cheap food, easy going people   - what else do you need??

Dinner is at 8 p.m. right after the world championship play  Italy: Uruguay!!  

                              Forza Italia - I keep my fingers crossed.

Day4 - Restday Ribeauville(France)

Hi guys out there,

we just came back from an unbelievable ride around the Alsace Mountains!!! Uncountable turns on great roads, amazing scenery and the best - in 4 hours of riding we saw maybe 5 cars... just perfect!

And after the ride an awesome picnic waited for them...

all kind of French cheese...

and for desert the typical Elsaß Gugelhupf

Tomorrow we are going back through the Black Forest down into Switzerland... see you...

Day 3 - Heidelberg - Ribeauville (France)

Once we arrived at Heidelberg we had to prepare our people for the night...

After dinner - Germany : Ghana. we prepared everybody for the game and off we went.Public viewing in the courtyard of the University of Heidelberg

An exciting game ended 2:2 - what a pitty,  could have been better, but could have been also worse.

Day 1  Munich - Rothenburg

We started from Erding - heading north through the Bavarian hops fields, essential for the 662 Bavarian breweries producing the liquid for the Octoberfest.

We are waiting for the night-watch man to guide us round

thanks to all my fellow travelers for its magnificent company, also thank our guides Genz and Ursula because we made ​​a magnificent and unforgettable tour.

Yahoo made it home, but sure would like to still be motorcycling around Europe !! Thanks Jens and Ursula for the fabulous tour, amazing food, incredible ancient scenery and great riding routes. Both of you and the rest of the group made the tour just an amazing time. I had a good time and met lots of new friends, can't say thank you enough for the wonderful time, have a great summer.

I had the best holiday ever had with this group. Great food, the best riding ever and jens and Ursula were awesome. Oh yes and a great bunch of fellow riders. Hope we can hook up and do it again sometime.

Had a great time..Amazing good luck with the weather. They shoul change the name of the tour to Best of Europe & Food. Will be booking with these guys again.
