Tourguide academy - striving for perfection - Modultour 2017

Sunday, April, 30nd, 2017 | Thomas Ritt / Malcolm Brunelli / Peter Kuhn / James Ashton / Marc Adamiak | News / Europe

A week of intensive training just came to an end. Lots of work, lots of fun, lots of rain and lots of interesting experiences - everybody just had a blast. Eight highly trained, ultra-professional tour guides couldn't wait to head out to their assigned tours, but before that everybody had to (and wanted to!) attend a safety course with instructor Tobi. The last highlight in a truly outstanding week. Looking forward to seeing you out on the road!

Day 5

Tag 5

Tobi from Australia looking a little nervous about hitting the European roads. No kangaroos here mate!

The entire group, ready to ride!

Die ganze Truppe ist abfahrbereit...

A great picnic spot near Truden, unfortunately the weather wasn't up to the standard of the location

Malcom preparing for the afternoon's weather, with his personal grid-guy; Tom!

Alberto from Brazil super exicted about his Multistrada!

Andi from Innsbruck - getting motivated for tonight's breifing. We are sure it's going to be awesome!

Markus, looking super satisfied after his delicous Schnitzel - you can't beat the warm local meat

Stephan, Alberto, Tobi & Tom super happy about the great free riding they had in the afternoon

The boys on the Beamers! Tobi on his GS and Tom on the RT - these bikes were built for adventure!

Day 4 - wet on the outside but warm on the inside

Tag 4 - durchnässt aber zufrieden

Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side, but at least the team had big smiles at Lake Molveno! It's currently being drained for maintainance to the hydro-electricity plant, which made it interesting none the less!

One of the Edelweiss beauties - looking good in a rare moment without rain!

James, literally "hanging out" with the Cubans Javier and Anivar at the San Romedio monastary.

The man himself - San Romedio - with his bear

San Romedio höchstpersönlich - mit seinem Bären

We made it to Gampen pass - with rain and 3 degrees

Our most wisest guest, Markus from the USA getting the special treatment for his 60th birthday. What a way to celebrate such a fantastic milestone!

It was delicious!
Javier and Anavar gave us a fantastic briefing both in English and Spanish about the next day's ride. So great to see the skill and effort of the Cubans to make this such a fantastic tour! Muchas gracias guys!
The group is enjoying the view in "Grumes" over the cembra valley

A few sweepers and hair pins later we already reached our first fotostop with the Rosengartengroupe and the instructors started a conspiracy against the candidate.

---

Conspiracy against the active Tourguide
First Picurestop with the beautiful Rosengartengroupclouds in the back

On the next section the Torguide had to handle some violations against the groupriding rules and than we arrived at our first highlight of the day a impressive chiche from the 15th century with his famous frescoes inside.

---

The nice snack station in the back of the chirch

Than suddenly the GPS break down but nevertheless we had a great ride to our picknick place.
