Once you reach San Miguel, you can savor its colonial charm, stroll through the cobblestone streets, and wind down the evening with a refreshing margarita. From there, the journey continues to Guanajuato, a colorful university town that’s a true labyrinth of narrow alleyways and underground streets. You’ll park your bike and simply let yourself wander—maybe you’ll even stumble upon an impromptu street music performance. 

The next day, you’ll cruise toward San Luis Potosí, a lively city with a delightful historic center. Enjoy a coffee on the plaza and recharge for your next highlight: Real de Catorce. Riding up an old cobblestone road, you’ll climb into this former silver mining town that now exudes a mystical aura. Then it’s off to Xilitla, into the lush heart of the Huasteca Potosina. Expect winding roads, dense jungle, and as the crowning experience, the surreal garden of Edward James—a dreamlike place with stairways to nowhere and giant sculptures hidden deep in the forest. A rest day in Xilitla will give you enough time to savour and enjoy this and all the other highlights there to the fullest.

After that, you’ll swing back into the saddle and head for Bernal, where a massive monolith, the Peña de Bernal, greets you from afar. After a night in the shadow of this rock giant, you’ll return to Mexico City, where your journey ends. With your head full of images of dusty roads, colorful facades, cheerful people, and endless landscapes, you’ll set off on your way home —already dreaming of your next motorcycle adventure.
