Highlights
Along the longest traderoute in the world
Venture into the heart of China’s majestic northwest – where history, culture, and landscape converge along the ancient Silk Road.
Begin your adventure in Xi’an, the cradle of Chinese civilization, where the Terracotta Army stands in solemn formation, guarding the tomb of an emperor for over 2,000 years. Continue west to Lanzhou, tasting hand-pulled beef noodles and watching the golden sun dip into the Yellow River from the tranquil heights of Sangtai Pavilion.
Explore the Maijishan Grottoes, where centuries-old Buddhas are carved into sheer cliffs, then immerse yourself in the living Tibetan culture of Labrang Monastery, prayer flags fluttering under highland skies. Take a breath by Qinghai Lake’s shimmering waters before entering a world of color at the surreal, wave-like formations of Zhangye Danxia.
In Jiayuguan, stand at the westernmost gate of the Great Wall and imagine the stories carried by desert winds. Your journey ends in Dunhuang, where you have the option of extending your tour by one day to discover the breathtaking murals of the Mogao Caves (UNESCO World Heritage Site), ride camels through windswept dunes up to 300 meters high, visit the fantastic Crescent Lake, and listen to the echoes of art, faith, and trade.
This is not just a normal motorcycle road trip – it’s a journey through time, spirit, and the boundless beauty of the Silk Road.
