Our Austrian Alps Touring Center is a hassle-free motorcycle tour. Bring your family!

Being on a motorcycle tour is great but packing your bag every day is not that great, finding the next hotel can be a challenge and then you have to ride almost every day, no matter what the conditions are.

This tour, on the other hand, offers you five beautiful day trips from one home base, a very comfortable hotel, located right in the middle of one of Europe’s best motorcycling areas, in this case the Austrian Alps. Every day you have the choice: Follow your tour guide on one of those loops, embark on your own ride or do something entirely different. Play a round of golf, go to the pool or treat yourself to the spa, do some shopping, sightseeing, hiking – you decide. Bring your family, even if they don’t ride. While you’re out enjoying the Alpine twisties, they can take advantage of the hotel and the surrounding attractions. In the evenings you can indulge together in Austrian specialties like Wiener Schnitzel or Apple Strudel.

The loops take you to some of the top riding highlights in the Alps, including the famous Passo dello Stelvio, the queen of Alpine Roads, the equally stunning Passo del Rombo or the Zillertal Panoramic Road. We also cover touristic highlights like King Ludwig’s castles, the city of Innsbruck or the ski jump of Bergisel. On top of that, we’ve got some hidden jewels in stock for you as well. Enjoy a great motorcycle tour in the Alps – without any of the drawbacks.

Touring Center Alps

I had always wanted to ride somewhere in Europe but did not want to do it solo and that's why I chose to book an Edelweiss tour on the advice of some friends. I went with the Touring Center Alps because it would be the opposite of my daily New York City ride. From start to finish, the tour was nothing short of amazing! The tour guides were wonderful: Gerhard for the extra training day, and Harald for the actual tour. Both men were extremely patient, good-humored, knowledgeable and respectful. The ride itself was just beautiful, even when it rained! Harald set a good pace, knew fabulous routes and we had just enough yummy coffee breaks. The base hotel in Seefeld was excellent. My room was spacious and comfortable, the food and service fantastic. The maitre d’ went out of his way to accommodate our group with wine tastings and much more. The folks on the tour were a lot of fun to hang out with, and we’ll all be staying in touch! I loved this trip, wish I was still on it, and will definitely be doing more tours with Edelweiss!

Touring Center Alps

With our tour based in Seefeld, we had five thrilling riding days looping out from the town and back. Since our group was pretty large, we had two guides taking care of us who let us wander through wonderful twisting mountain back roads and passes. The amazing Passo di Stelvio let you practice your switchback turns (only 70 or so!) with fantastic valley and glacier views to boot. Then sausage on a bun at the top with dozens of other bikers. Castles, churches and winding hilly roads – a motorcyclist‘s paradise! Then evening dinner at ”home” with my new found friends. I‘ll just have to do another tour with Edelweiss.
