Highlights
Looking for something unusual? This tour is about history, scenery, winery – and ridery!
Germany’s far west, Belgium, Luxemburg, north-eastern France: a touring region easily overlooked by riders in pursue of a memorable motorcycle vacation in Europe. Sure, the Ardennes are not the Alps and Brunello wine may be more famous than Mußbacher Eselshaut from the Palatinate, but in terms of diversity and intensity of experience this tour is hard to beat.
The landscape is dotted with romantic villages full of half-timbered houses, a castle or fortress on every hill, beautiful rivers lined with vineyards, stunning, history-laden cities like Aachen or Nancy, and they all vie for your attention. The tour takes you through 4 different countries (and a corner of the Netherlands as a ride-through) and offers some unique attractions like the legendary Nürburgring race track (aka “Green Hell”), the WWI battlefields of Verdun, the world-famous Loreley rock on the banks of the Rhine river and the huge radio-telescope in Effelsberg. And here is the best part: They are all connected through fun motorcycle roads: small, twisty and with very little traffic. What are you waiting for?
