Ireland and the wild Atlantic Way
Facts
Daily distances: 180-330 km, 112-205 miles
Highlights
Discover spectacular landscapes along the wild Atlantic coast and the typical Irish hospitality.
Céad míle fáilte – a hundred thousand welcomes to Ireland. Vibrant cities, impressive castles, prehistoric stone circles, spectacular natural wonders and much more is spread across the whole country and connected by terrific roads. From Dublin via Northern Ireland we find the starting point of the “Wild Atlantic Way,” a tourist route on the West coast of the island.
Galway has more street artists than any other place and the atmosphere in the Irish pubs is a legendary mix of fun, music and hospitality. The South-West is all about rugged coastal scenery; the slogan “where land and sea collide, where untamed beauty abounds" becomes reality here. The South-East, however, is softer and more relaxed. We complete the circle around the Emerald Isle and take home a treasure trove of memories. Fheiceann tú in Éirinn – see you in Ireland!
