Highlights
Discover the secrets of the unknown mountains of Southern Italy with us!
This motorcycle tour will take you to breathtakingly beautiful places that remain untouched by mass tourism. We start in Florence, the capital of Tuscany and the cradle of the Renaissance. This amazing city is definitely worth spending a few extra days in! Once we're on our bikes, we head south on winding roads that lead us through pristine natural landscapes. Trasimeno Lake shimmers in the distance as we approach Perugia, a city with one of the oldest historic centers in Italy. But this is just the beginning.
Soon, the majestic Gran Sasso, the highest peak of the Apennines, comes into view. The roads twist through spectacular mountain scenery, offering the thrill of the ride and breathtaking views. Further south, we reach the legendary Amalfi Coast. There, the road seems like a ribbon stretched between heaven and sea, with colorful villages clinging to the steep cliffs. This is a place where you must stop to enjoy fresh seafood and the scent of lemon groves.
Our journey then takes us to Matera, the 2019 European Capital of Culture, where we take a well-deserved rest day. Famous for its Sassi cave dwellings carved into the rock, the city is a fascinating labyrinth of history and architecture. We wander through the narrow streets, soaking in the unique atmosphere. Another gem awaits us: Castel del Monte, a mysterious medieval castle standing like an octagonal puzzle in the landscape.
Eventually, we arrive at the Adriatic coast, at the "heel" of the Italian boot, where our journey ends. As we say our goodbyes, we carry with us not only memories of spectacular landscapes and thrilling rides, but also tastes of Italy, from handmade pasta and rich olive oil to sweet treats we encountered along the way. Bella Italia—a journey that enchants the heart and senses.
