Highlights
Discover the secrets of the unknown mountains of Southern Italy with us!
This motorcycle tour takes you to breathtakingly beautiful places are still untouched by mass tourism. We begin in Florence, the capital of Tuscany and the cradle of the Renaissance. After exploring this artistic city, we hop on our bikes and head South, where winding roads lead us through pristine natural landscapes. The shimmering Trasimeno Lake appears in the distance before we arrive in Perugia, a city with one of the oldest historic centers in Italy. But this is just the beginning.
Soon, the majestic Gran Sasso, the highest peak of the Apennines, rises before us. The roads twist through the spectacular mountain scenery, offering not only the thrill of the ride but also breathtaking views. Further south, we reach the legendary Amalfi Coast. Here, the road seems like a ribbon stretched between heaven and sea, while colorful villages cling to the steep cliffs. It’s a place where you simply must stop to enjoy fresh seafood and the scent of lemon groves.
Our journey continues to Matera, the European Capital of Culture 2019, where we take a well-deserved rest day. The city, famous for its Sassi cave dwellings carved into the rock, is a fascinating labyrinth of history and architecture. We wander through the narrow streets, soaking in the unique atmosphere, before another gem awaits us: Castel del Monte, a mysterious medieval castle that stands like an octagonal puzzle in the landscape.
Eventually, we arrive on the Adriatic coast, right on the "heel" of the Italian boot, where our journey comes to an end. But as we say our goodbyes, we carry with us not only the memory of spectacular landscapes and thrilling rides but also the taste of Italy: from handmade pasta and rich olive oil to the sweet delights we encountered along the way. Bella Italia – a journey that enchants not only the heart but also the senses.
