A week of riding a motorcycle on the awesome roads of the Dolomites will make you yearn for more!

The famous Dolomites with their overwhelming scenery, their spectacularly twisty mountain roads, their perfect tourist infrastructure, and the outstanding combination of the best that the Italian and Austrian cuisines have to offer – these are the ingredients for an unforgettable motorcycle vacation. The Dolomites and their stunning roads are a must for every passionate rider. The countryside is dominated by tall mountains, gushing rivers, and gorge-like valleys, which offer just enough space for a narrow road. This region in the far north of Italy is a world of its own, where people, building styles, languages, roads and food are different from the rest of the country. The reason for that is South Tyrol’s history of being at the center of a tug-of-war between Austria and Italy. On this tour you can enjoy the hospitality of the same beautiful 4-star hotel for an entire week, there is no need to pack your bags and move to a different location every day. Follow your guide around on a variety of interesting day trips, go on your own rides or just do whatever you feel like doing. Bring your family if you like, we promise they won’t be bored. Beautiful Bolzano, home of the famous 5,000-year-old Ice Man, is only a short funicular ride away and, in the vicinity, there are a plethora of things to do. Enjoy the freedom to ride, relax, and meet the locals, right here in the stunning Dolomites.

Touring Center Dolomites

The Touring Center Dolomites was one of my best bike rides, that for a number of reasons: 1. The area around the Dolomites is spectacularly beautiful, with breath-taking scenery, amazing roads (both twisties and sweepers!) and lots of challenging mountain passes. 2. Angela, our tour leader, was sensitive to the needs of those who preferred a slower pace and those of us who preferred to ride a bit quicker, without offending or frustrating anyone while practising safety first at all times. 3. I loved the fact that we had one room at an excellent hotel for the whole week and our rides took us to different locations every day. There was no need to pack and unpack and check-out and check-in every day. 4. When one of the bikes broke down Angela went out of her way to solve the problem, efficiently and with the least disruption and inconvenience to the rest of the group. I will definitely tour with Edelweiss Bike Travel again.
