New Zealand Tour

The end of a trip like this New Zealand motorcycle tour is truly bittersweet. Great new friends, a new country visited and so many learning moments. It’s simply an experience that cannot be easily replicated without the dedication of a service provider like Edelweiss Bike Travel. May the friendships blossom and grow, may the experiences continue to increase in number and may the memories bring smiles to faces for years to come. Thanks for the memories!

We continue to do Edelweiss trips because we simply love them. The mystique of New Zealand had always placed it on my bucket list and we had talked to enough other Edelweiss touring friends to know we would not be disappointed with the New Zealand tour… and we weren’t! Besides great new friends and tour guides, New Zealand offered the beauty of Colorado and the “wild and wonderful” of West Virginia.

For Silvana and me, riding through New Zealand – or as the natives call it: ”Aotearoa“ – was the experience of a lifetime! The ”land of the great white cloud“ offered everything we could have hoped, and all those incredibly scenic roads will be saved in our memories forever. We had the pleasure of seeing wonderful blue lakes, enormous mountains, green valleys and meeting friendly people. Sometimes there was no one around and we felt like we were discovering a new and unknown country. Edelweiss has chosen the best of all routes, excellent hotels, and stops at places which are of great interest – all of which guaranteed that we would enjoy this tour to the fullest. We have completed seven tours with Edelweiss Bike Travel so far and, if we could do only one of them again, it would be New Zealand in a heart beat!
