The southern Austrian provinces of Carinthia and Styria are famous for their stunning scenery of mountains and lakes, their mild, sunny weather, their cultural and culinary variety, and of course for the motorcycling qualities of their roads. From our base hotel next to Lake Wörth, we offer five different day trips designed to take you all over Carinthia and into Styria as well as across the borders to Slovenia and the far north-eastern corner of Italy.

Discover stunning castles like Hochosterwitz, unique churches like the one designed by Hundertwasser in Bärnbach, and charming old towns like Kranjska Gora. Enjoy amazing motorcycle rides on famous mountain passes that include Vršič and the Nockalm road and on unknown, but equally awesome roads like Monte Zoncolan or the Turracher Höhe. The phenomenal views from vantage points like the Magdalensberg or the Pyramidenkogel Tower are simply mesmerizing! Experience Austrian hospitality at its best and indulge in local wine and beer, in Wiener schnitzel, Kaiserschmarrn, and apple strudel. If you don’t feel like riding, just relax at the beach or at the pool, play a round of golf, or head to Klagenfurt or Velden for some shopping or even gambling!
