While my fellow new tour guides are soaking up the sun and riding on thier training tour, I am in Providence, Rhode Island, for another H.O.G., Harley Officer Training convention. This convention is expected to have just under 400 dedicated Harley riders from around the U.S.A. Plus 150 guests with them. For me it is a great opportunity to learn about H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group) and represent Edelweiss and promote our tours. At the end of the day, it is this simple, I am hanging out with a bunch of Harley riders talking about riding. Also, telling them about the awesome opportunities they would have by taking a ride in Europe with Edelweiss. I have a feeling that I will see some familiar faces from Detroit, Atlanta, and Providence on future tours.....it is all about planting seeds, and letting the folks I meet let those seeds blossom. Hello from Providence.

On day 2 the meeting started with a general session.....Where all 350+ were introduced to thier instructors. Then later broke down into smaller classes. I started off yesterday with 400 brochures, I only have 35 left. Good thing there is another left over box from Atlanta.  There is big interest from the people here in riding with Edelweiss.  Tonight dinner and party time, if it is anything like Atlanta, it will be a very fun night.

Day 3... 12:05 am Eastern time.....did I mention anything about dinner and a party......  why yes, yes I did.  Great band, lots of fun and made some new friends from the great State of New York....  cheers..... off to bed, and at it again at 7 am....

Day 3 is coming to an end......I spoke with many interesting folks here in Providence. The classes and fun are almost over. People will be leaving the event within an hour or two.  I can tell already that Edelweiss will be very successful in leading Harley Davidson tours in Europe.  We will have folks from North America coming to ride with us.  I also feel that the partnership between Edelweiss and Harley-Davidson will be a strong one. There is a mutual bond of cooperation between the two companies, I see and feel this first hand.....   For me it is also almost time and head back to Denver for a few days....and on Thursday I arrive in Europe, I am looking forward to seeing my coworkers in Mieming again very soon.. and certainly looking forward to TOUR SEASON.....good bye for now, and see you in EUROPE!!!
