Dish of the house "Jezero" for two... or maybe for five
The last meters in Bosnia-Herzegovina
And the first kilometers in Montenegro
Fast as flashes. Looks like from a speed trap.
Gospa od Škrpjela in English Our Lady of the Rocks in the front of Perast

Day 6: From Vodice to Mostar in Herzegovina

Dalmatia and the Croatian coast are truly fabulous but the hinterland has something to offer as well! Follow us in our exploration of the hilly regions of Herzegovina, tonight we are going to reach Mostar.

Today just after passing the border and enterning Bosnia we meet Rainer, edelweiss CEO. He will join the tour till the end in Dubrovnik, meeting our nice Korean friends!

Mostar, today's destination.
Justin just entering Bosnia...
Near the lake Busko we had lunch in Eco Selo, a very pretty restaurant with some tasty Bosnian plates.
And then we reach our destination Mostar, incredibly picturesque with its reconstructed old bridge and the stone streets around the centre.
For not forgetting the scars left by the recent Slavic war...

DAY 5: A rest day at the Krka waterfalls

After changing place every day since we started the tour, now it's time for a rest day allowing us to visit the stunning park of Krka waterfalls.

Just a short ride with a late start to get some extra sleep and then a few hours wandering around this natural beauty.

We met some fellow motorcyclists from Hungary!
We start with a boat tour from Skradin towards the bay of the river Krka.
The rapids and the waterfalls are very picturesque...
The short hike from today made everyone so hungry!!! We went for dinner at a traditional grill restaurant in Vodice, quite a feast!
"Živjeli", chhers in Croatian with some home made rakija...

DAY 4: Through the back country of Dalmatia towards Vodice

From Split a beautiful road with some switch backs brings us directly into the mountains. Looking back to the city of Gaius Aurelius Valerius Diocletianus
Hands up for the roads of Croatia
The king Dmitar Zvonimir in the center of Knin...
...we on top of the mountain are entering his castel
From Knin we follow the Kirka river who leads us to our next Hotel in Vodice
What's in the bag?
yeeeeea! Boot beer!

DAY 3: From Hvar to Split

Today we will ride the island Hvar again, back towards mainland and then partly along the coast and partly among the mountains to Split. It's impressive how rapidly the scenery changes once you leave the blue and wealthy coastal scenery, exploring the more rugged hinterland.

Back on the ferry: short ride to Drvenik checking today's route.
Coffee stop in Makarska, the main town of this Riviera. Ana and Ruben going for some shipping at the local market, plenty of interesting (and delicious) things!
Such a relaxing place to have lunch!! Near the Cetina river.
Well, for someone the lunch place is VERY relaxing!
Split is a fantastic town! The old town is all inside the walls of the Diocletian Palace and it's stunning! The center is a bit like a Medina, a small labyrinth unveiling some surprises around every corner!

DAY 2: From Dubrovnik to Hvar

On our first riding day we follow the beautiful Dalmatian coast through the Bosnian corridor, crossing 2 boarders, to Drvenik to take the ferry to Hvar island.

ready to go!
After the first awesome kilometers in the Morning we have our first stop in the little village of Mali Ston famous for his long protection wall from the republic of Ragusa.
Getting prepared and reinvigorated for the curvy road on Hvar island in the afternoon with a good see food.
For some of us a very romantic lunch
The beautiful "old town" of Stari Grad
Our last stop of the day on a great viewpoint over the town Hvar
Whaaat a great view!!
Somewhere down there between the trees on the coast is our destination for today
This is the only way to reach the hotel, yep a little tight but our van fits exactly in the tunnel!
Surely an hotel with a view!
Endless charm...
J.P. tonight means Junior Playboy! What an affable lady we met! She is the promoter of Park Bar... definitely worth to check it out!

DAY 1: Arrival in Dubrovnik

Welcome to the Balkan side of the Adriatic sea!

A fantastic motorcycle tour across Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro is about to start! Our very special guests from Korea will have a blast along curvy roads, spectacular seaside views and thrilling narrow roads (or goat paths?) once we ride inland...

Are you ready to follow us? We are gonna keep you updated every day with some photos of this adventure.

A panoramic view of the "Stari Grad", Dubrovnik old town.
Your tour guides Lukas (Germany) and Manuel (Italy), happy to show you some wonderful places around here.
Dubrovnik has plenty of little alleys...and lots of stairs!
Croatian parking freestyle: "I come last, no space, so I'm gonna just leave it there and block the other 6 cars"!
D.J. and Jon meeting some "local" birds!
And Ruben and Ana posing for us with these friendly parrots.
Stradum, the main street of Dubrovnik Old Town leads to a lovely baroque square filled with cafes and marble buildings... The perfect aperitivo spot!
Lavender puppets reminding us how important this plant used to be (and in some areas still is) for this region, especially for Hvar island, the place we are heading to tomorrow.
Have a good evening everyone, enjoy the sunset view from the hotel terrace... Tomorrow we start riding!
