Tag 5 - Anaga the green Jungle

Pass to Las Manchas

---

Today we ride the north side of Tenerife we go over the mountain range and the island changes its face.

Many flowering gardens, fertile fields with many small colorful villages crowded close to the cliffs of the steep coast. The panoramic road leads us along the Mountain and offers a fantastic view from the coast to the tip of El Teide.

Coffe in La Orotava

---

Before La Orotava begins the descent towards the coast the dreamlike road winds in endless curves down the mountainsides, until it goes through the narrow and steep streets of the city to the main square. Where we enjoy the best coffee of the island in a dreamy park.

Anaga road

---

After coffee came the highlight of the day, the Anaga mountain road. Covered by the laurel forest leads an incredibly grippy asphalt band, endlessly winding over the mountain grade of the old volcanoes in each valley. At the end of the downhill runs colorful fishing villages with busy surfing beaches, a calm atmosphere that captures you immediately and the best fish restaurant of the island await us.

Unfortunately we have to leav this amazing place

Was soll man nach so einer Fahrt und so schönen Mittagspause noch sagen, außer das man nicht gehen will.

Danke Marina für die großartige Arbeitswoche

---

What can you say after such a journey and such a nice lunch break, except that you do not want to go.

Thank you Marina for the great work week

Tag 4 - Gran Canaria done

View from the Top

---

After the first day on this diverse island which amazed us with its roads and wild canyons, we went up in the morning to 1900 meters to the highest point of the island to marvel on properly.

the dessert

---

From here, the road goes back 1900 meters down to the desert of Maspalomas, a short distance along the coast, into the next Barranco and immediately 1900 meters up to the roof of the island.

Panorama of Artenara

---

We enjoy the view back, the peace in the 2000 year old cave city of Artenara and a traditional meal out of goat's cheese before it goes down again to the ferry.

Tag 3 - Gran Canaria warm up

---

After a quick morning ride over the Teide, which was very mystical looking non crowded in the morning light, we went to Santa Cruz on the ferry to the neighboring island of Gran Canaria.

Pass to Siberio
looking back to the Chellange

---

The Tambadama road was completed over the summer and so we could the first time choose the route on the east side of the island, which put us in total amazement. The road leads along a dried-up river into a bizarre valley and climbs at its end in the rock face until we descend along the coast to the center of the island.

lokking forward to

---

Now the next curve road down and we are in our cozy hotel right on the Caldera de Bandame where a delicious journey through the culinary of the island and a cold beer is waiting for us.

Tag 2 - La Gomera

---

In the morning we went directly over the highway to Los Christianos from where the ferry brings us to La Gomera the green island which is already visible from the hotel.

Roque Agando
First pass road
Few to Tenerife

---

We were able to leave the ferry ahead of everyone else and had the first pass road to the Roques Agando all to ourselves, as the ferry caused all the traffic on the island.

Quickly we took a few pictures admiring the natural wonders which the volcanoes left behind and continued riding until the ferry's cars catch up with us.

Now it goes through the laurel tunnel once around the island until we wind on the north side through the rugged valleys to Las Rosas to visit from there the spectacular glass balcony coffee over Agulo.

---

From here it goes through the heart of the island and the jungle again on the south side into the Valle Gran Rey a green oasis on the otherwise barren steep coast.

---

Once down there you can still feel the peace and zest for life that already made the hippies in the 60s from Europer here.

We enjoy Arabic Gomeran cuisine in front of the black and most beautiful beach of the island and for dessert we had a swim in the refreshing waves.

looking back to a great day
leaving Gomera

---

A great day comes to an end and we leave La Gomera in the sunset, this island is a paradise for the soul, palate and motorcyclist it almost looks as if a motorcyclist had designed these beautiful roads.

Tag 1 - El Teide

Las Canadas what a few

---

Early on a sunny morning we drove up empty roads,
freshly paved in the summer, to the interior of the
island to pay a visit to the giant of Tenerife, the
Teide, and to explore all its endlessly winding roads.
After the first bends I wanted to ask if everything
was alright with my this week motorcycle partner as
an answer, came only "yeah lets ride on"

after a few curves this happens

---

The next 2000 meters are the purest motorcycle joy.
We drive through gigantic pine forests, past the
vineyards of Tenerife always with a view of bizzare
Vulcanos extending to the coast.

up to 2000m its getting chilly
our next target the Roques Garcia
Marina and the Vulkanos
enjoying the few to the Ucanca plateau

---

In front of the amazing rock formations, we enjoyed a
coffee until we then made the thousands of curves that
the south side of the mountain has to offer for us.

Every time again this day at the Giant of Tenerife is an
impressive experience for tour guide and guests.

Looking forward to the Tour

Sunset with Gomera

----

The Alps are already under a small snowpack, motocycling on the exciting mountain passes ia already cold and even in the sun shine the gravel can ruin it all. The summer was beautiful, warm and long but the need to swing through curves is not satisfied yet? So in the plane and off in Europes Caribbean, the Canary Islands are still waiting with pleasent 25°C, sunny days and endless curves.
