Every year, Edelweiss Bike Travel is looking for new tour guides. From a couple of hundred applicants, we select about 40 and invite them to Mieming for a challenging assessment center. They have to give briefings in English and German, complete tests, and impress us with their language and social skills, their eloquence, and their knowledge. Only a handful will be selected, so everybody was trying very hard...
