From Paris To Omaha CPO 2301

Monday, July 3, 2023 | Dominik Nattkamp / Henning Sewöster | Europe

Rarely are history and driving pleasure so close together as here in France. In the next 10 days we will see castles, palaces, beaches and much from the recent past. The weather promises good things and everyone is looking forward to many great impressions.

Riding day 2 started with some rain. We stayed for a while at the Loire and our first stop was chateau l'Azay-le-Rideau. This castle is one of the most beautiful ones in France. We spent some time there and headed afterwords to Saumur where we had lunch with a beautiful view to the castle Saumur, build in the 13th century.

A small group of riders took the chance to take an additional ride, the others relaxed, booked a massage at our hotel or went shopping.
