Day 1 - Arrival in Chiang Mai

Our international group is complete. Patty and Steve from USA, Robert from USA, Dimitrios from Greece, Salome, Jens and Markus from Germany.

After the welcome briefing we had a great dinner at our hotel. Now we are ready to go!

Day 2 - Chiang Mai - Chiang Kham - 305 km

We had a very good first riding day. The group was doing really well.  What fun to ride these twisty roads through the jungle. Adventure lunch stop, a special monastery and a great place  to stay overnight at Rico's Resort. A perfect start of the tour.

Day 3 - Chiang Kham - Nan - 310 km

What a day! The highlights were the Route 1148, 1181 and the mountain villages. Countless curves, fantastic scenery and an outstanding group!

Bootbeer time!

Day 4 Restday Nan- 275 km

Another wonderful day in motorcycle paradise! We had our first and only rest day in Nan, but this group did not want to rest today. We did the full programm. Challenging mountain roads and great stretch of sweepers in the afternoon. Really fun!

Day 5 - Nan - Chiang Khong - 325 km

Today we were heading North to the Mekong, great riding and scenery again. But the highlight was the lookout of Phu Chiang Fa at the border to Laos. What a stunning place!

Day 6 - Chiang Kham - Mae Ai- 235 km

A shorter riding day,  but in parts very intense and tecnical. Some really tight and steep switchbacks. No problem for this group! A great hotel  again and time for the pool.

Patty with a new job.

Day 7 - Mae Ai - Pai - 290 km

A day full of highlights. A very special jungle track, lunch in the wild, a beautiful waterfall, the road of the thousand curves and the nightlife of Pai. A great day!

Jens was brave!
Dinner in Pai

Day 8 - Pai - Mae Sariang - 280 km

After the road of the thousand curves yesterday,  we did the road of the two thousand curves today. What a ride, like a rollercoaster. But that was not all, we also did a boat trip to a Longneck village, where we had lunch and visited the local school, a great experience.

Day 9 - Mae Sariang- Chiang Mai - 270 km

Unfortunately our last riding day. But we had great one. Twisty roads and great scenery,  including the highest peak in Thailand,  the Doi Inthanon with over 2500 meters and the stunning Wachiratan waterfall.

Coming into Chiang Mai was hard and hot, but group handeld it really well. Super group!!!
