Native South African dishes are influenced by Indian cuisine and also reflect the influence of the Dutch people who immigrated here in the 1600s. You’ll find many menu selections loaded with fresh local fruits and vegetables. From Johannesburg, the riding is easy as we head east toward Waterval Boven on curvy roads.

Then we’ll meander north toward Blyde River Canyon, which leads to the fantastic riding and vistas of Kruger National Park, where we’ll spend a day on a safari looking for big game. The next days, we’ll ride through the heart of Swaziland and on to Shakaland, where King Shaka ruled. Perhaps your most outstanding memory of this wonderful trip will be the ride along Chapmans Peak, where the road is carved into red rock 300 ft above sea level! This is one of the most spectacular twisty roads on the planet and leads to the Cape of Good Hope, where you’ll watch the gigantic surf of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet and crash against the rocky cliffs!
