Starting out in the rolling hills of Bavaria with its abundance of green pastures and healthy cows, we cross into the Austrian part of this huge mountain range. We continue into Switzerland where the first snow-covered glaciers are waiting for us. The curvy mountain roads provide plenty of opportunity to discover why the Alps are famous! And it gets better as we head for the highest mountain, Mont Blanc, located in the French Alps.

From there the final highlight is still ahead: Italy! The home of the espresso, innumerable scooters, beautiful red motorcycles and cars, seems to be made of twists and turns, beautiful lakes and towering mountains. Here the “mother of all passes” is waiting for us: Passo di Stelvio with its 87(!) switchbacks. Before we return to Munich, the Dolomites and the Grossglockner High Alpine Road provide some of the final highlights of this tour. One thing is for sure: the impressions you collect during these two weeks will make you want to come back!
