From Catavina, it’s 240 miles through rocky desert and cactus groves to San Ignacio where whale watching opportunities exist along the coastline, depending on the season. Riding across the peninsula brings us to the Sea of Cortez, all along great winding roads, and after heading inland, we reach the Bay of La Paz. The last riding day is the most rewarding: the road between La Paz and Cabo San Lucas is full of great twisties through the mountains of Sierra de la Laguna.
San Jose del Cabo’s Old World Plaza brims with traditional hospitality and overflows with unique shops, golden treasures, and temples to creative cuisine. It is enhanced with the traditional luxury and attentive service of an earlier age with the most modern comforts and conveniences.
