Back to the roots in Abruzzo & Molise HAM

Experience seclusion, tranquility and riding fun in Italy’s green center.

Seclusion and tranquility in Italy’s green center. Abruzzo and Molise are two regions of Italy that remain almost untouched by mass tourism. Rome, the Eternal City, and Tuscany are nearby – and still far away. It is almost a miracle that regions like these still exist! For us as motorcyclists the area is a dream come true. Great roads in Italy’s natural lung, majestic mountains like Gran Sasso and villages on the horizon, which look as if time has stood still for decades!

Small taverns – probably former hideaways of the local bandits – give us the privilege to sample the taste of the culinary traditions. What kind of pasta should we try today? Maccheroni alla Chitarra and Taccozzelle all’Aquilana in Abruzzo? Or rather Cavatelli al Sugo in Molise? After parking our bikes under the starry sky, we can enjoy the evening with a glas of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo. The next morning will take us further along our route: part journey and part self-discovery.
