BMW-Days for Paraguay,

11 friends of the "BMW Motorrad Club Paraguay" are visiting the BMW Days 2023 in Berlin with Edelweiss Bike Travel.

Of course, this thematic journey starts at the BMW headquarters: Munich.

At the beginning of the tour, there was an obligatory visit to the BMW Museum and BMW World.

Later we went to the Olympic Seefeld in the Alps, where we received the motorcycles, of course the latest BMW models.

Everyone is prepared and eagerly looking forward to the first day of driving...

 The Riding begins - Passo del Rombo, Passo di Monte Giovo, Passo di Pennes 

The journey finally begins. We served three fillet pieces at mountain-passes. At the beginning we conquered the Timmelsjoch (2474 m), then the Jaufenpass (2094 m) and finally the Penserjoch (2211m).  We more than deserved the dinner in Bolzano...

The Mighty Dolomites! 

Today we left Bolzano with the best weather imaginable and visited "The Mecca" of motorcyclists in general, the Dolomites.  The dream of every motorcyclist became reality for us.  We wound our way onto perfect curves along what is probably the most impressive mountain range in the Alps, WHAT a BLAST!

Along the "Großglockner High Alpine Road" to Gmunden

We felt today the merciless nature of the Alps. We were literally riding through the clouds. We managed to climb and decend in a slowly and safe manner. Finally in good weather conditions again we earned austrias most famos soda the "Almdudler". We arrived in the afternoon in Gmunden and enjoyed a little stroll through the oldtwon followed by a beautiful dinner at the terrace of our lakeside hotel. HAPPY DAYS!

Good bye Alps, Chec Republic here we come!

After countless mountainpasses and weather conditions in all shapes and colors, we headed out to conquer our third country by bike on this tour, the Chec Republic. But first we had to cross the Danube, Europes second largest river. The vehicle of choice to cross the river was a tiny ferry, just big enough f our group of 7 bikes. Through small villages on country roads we finally reached the Chec Republic. The weather was beautifull, so we had to stop and visit the UNESCO world heritage sight of Český Krumlov. Our overnight stop is probably known for the maybe world most famous beer, Budweiser (České Budějovice). TOP NOTCH!

Prague: one of the most beautiful cities of Europe!

It was the aim today to reach Prague as soon as possible and to enjoy the rest of the day sightseeing this jewel of a city. It has thausand of years of history and the historic center is just a kind of its own. After a beautiful cruise allong small countryroads we hit main roads just before Prague. A little bit rain could not decrease our good mood. We arrived just in time for lunch befor we had a guided city tour through the old town. EXCEPTIONAL!

Welcome back to Germany!

Today we left Prague early and headed back to Germany.  After a scenic drive through the Czech "Outback" we headed to Bohemian Switzerland. Our loyal van driver Matthias surprised us with a culinary picnic.  After a good break, we continue through Saxon Switzerland and the Elbe Sandstone Mountains.  From the well-known Bastei rocks we enjoy the wonderful view of the Elbe valley before we finally drive down to Dresden.

Finally arriving at Berlin and meeting the Edelweiss Bike Family!

After leaving Dresden early morning we made a stop at castle Moritzburg. Founded in the 16th century as a hunting lodge it got it's final appearance as a castle in the 18th experience. After a straight forward ride we arrived early in Berlin. The relief to arrive safe and sound after more than 2.000 km through Austria, Italy, Czech Republic and Germany. Our faithful van driver Matthias waited with some well earned cold beer at our final destination.

At night we headed out to the Edelweiss Bike Travel Dinner with the other 14 Groups from Hong Kong, China, Thailand, Indonesia, Argentina, Uruguay, USA and of cause: Paraguay!

BMW - DAYS 2023 in Berlin!

This morning we discoverd the capital of Germany, Berlin. The biggest city of the European Union has a long and divers history. It was for decades the center of the cold war, divided into a communist and capitalist part. The aftermath is still visible today. After a guided city tour we visited the BMW - DAYS in the center of Berlin. The Event was peppered by various shows and of cause all new models of the BMW range. At the end of the day, wr enjoyed a true Bavarian style Dinner n the BMW-tent.

It was an epic journey through Austria, Italy, Czech Republic and Germany. We rode on topnotch BMW bikes and had an truley awesome finish in Berlin with the BMW-Days as the icing on the cake. Thank you very much to all of you for this awesome tour, it was an honorbto ride with you guys. Hopefully see you again at another tour in beautiful Europe.
