Mount St. Helens – it’s one of these names that everybody (who has lived in the 70s and 80s) knows and remembers: The pictures of the erupted volcano were on every TV in the world. Now you have the chance to see it for real and to ride along the beautiful revived base of the sleeping giant.

And that’s just the start of our discovery of America’s Northwest, where there is so much more to see. From the skyline of Seattle to the skyline of the Cascade Mountains with Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Hood to the beautiful river valleys and finally to the Pacific coastline, you will see the USA. from a completely different point of view. Explore historic cities which were born during the Gold Rush, discover outdoor hotspots like Hood River and Bend in Oregon or artistic towns like Mendocino and Sausalito in California.

You will find beautiful and small mountain roads with curves for everyone’s taste across the coastal mountain ranges and you will get to ride one of the most famous roads in the world: the California Highway Number One a.k.a. Pacific Coast Highway. Riding on Hwy 1 across the Golden Gate Bridge into “The City by the Bay”, San Francisco, is on top of many motorcyclist’s bucket list all over the world – you have the chance to do it! But of course, there is not only riding and sightseeing: The food in this part of the country is a mix of the freshest seafood, the healthiest salads and vegetables and the best steaks you can find, thanks to the great climate, the endless ocean and the capable chefs who decided to settle between San Francisco and Seattle. So let’s go, let’s discover the northwestern corner of the United States of America!

The first and last days mentioned in the itinerary are the arrival and departure days for tour start and end. Depending on the country you start in, you may have to leave a day early, subsequently, you will arrive one day later back home. This tour starts in Seattle and ends in San Francisco.
